Follow up of the two following threads of TTC Baby number 1 🦕🦖

Hi all, hoping I can join. 😊 I'm 31 and TTC baby 1. On our 4th cycle, been off contraception for 18 months (took over a year for cycles to be normal after stopping the injection). I seem to have a short luteal phase (11, 8 & 10days recently). Think this could be an issue to conceive? Anyone else experienced this?

AF due this Friday and not holding out much hope xx

I’m CD7, when do you normally ovulate?

We haven’t done an official sperm test, we did an at home one called ExSeed (it’s on Amazon) as it looked at more than just count and was more detailed. I can’t tell you if the results track with a full sperm analysis, that would be a step we’d consider in another few months if need be. Other than the one above, you would need to be going through a fertility clinic I think. I had all my hormones tested last cycle and mine were fine too, I’m getting a pelvic ultrasound this month.

Sorry I can’t see anything but could just be phone/lighting ect. Best thing to do is test again tomorrow with a first response / clear blue (the 6 days early ones) and that should give you a definite result

My usual CD is Kate around CD22 but I ovulated CD16 last cycle and I think we missed it so will start OPKs earlier this time just in case. I was quite glad as it meant my LP was slightly longer at 12 days. How about you?

Thanks for the recommendation - we saw exseed so might give it a go :)

Does anyone take coq10.. feel like it's the only supplement I don't take haha but wondering whether I should give it a go. My AMH was 13 so within range but maybe on the low side ?

As @KT199 justly said, it takes on average 8 months for a healthy couple to conceive ! I always hold on to this when it gets tough, but it does get tough doesn't it.
I'm praying for more successful stories and cycles 🩷
Still waiting for AF over here and after a day of cramping nothing these. But BFN at 10 dpo so ... I'll just wait for AF.

@pastelpink0 congratulations! We’ll be inundating you with questions now 😂 Mine are how old are you, what were your early signs that you might be getting a positive, how long were you trying, did you do anything different this cycle? These questions are for everyone who hit their bfp by the way 😂
Im starting cycle 3 now, CD3, did some Hertility tests this morning, will let you all know how those results go for me. I have ordered preseed and intend to attempt SMEP- taking the bull by the horns and basically throwing everything at this now 😂

As fo me i'm feeling down a bit, was snappy with DH for no reason guess AF is on its way, can't wait to be over with this weird cycle.

how old are you, 27
what were your early signs that you might be getting a positive, I tested at 2am and thought I saw a vvvfl but then this morning I threw my coffee up and thought I'm gonna do a digital and it came up pregnant 1-2 almost straight away! boobs slightly bogger and sleepy all the time were the things that have been happening this past week
how long were you trying, first month - in shock!
did you do anything different this cycle? n/a!

I’ve had 2 chemicals in the last 2 months but my early signs were the exact same as my 2 other children. I had stabbing pain on one side a lot from around 4/5dpo, lots of pulling and tugging, nearer to 9dpo I would get tingly nipples, sickness and metallic taste followed by BFP😊 I feel like I am a pro at pregnancy symptoms now 🤣 (I’m 30 with a 3&12year old) @Clara202 good luck this cycle!!
