Well SMEP didn’t work as predicted. AF just arrived, very light and dark again, will bring this up with my GP this week. Cycle day 1 again.

@KT199 I decided against tracking ! I felt like after peeing on sticks for literally days on end I'd be so upset if I hadn't ovulated and I did all this for nothing 😆 so I'd rather not know ans wait for AF! I don't know if it's a weird mind frame but I feel like sometimes the less you know the happier you are ?

1DPO or 2DPO For me, paradoxically the 2WW is the easiest on my side as I ovulate 3 weeks before AF so the wait for ovulation is more frustrating (especially when it's irregular!)

I’m 10DPO according to the apps, but I would have said 12 looking at my temps. It’s dropped a lot this morning, so it’s looking more likely I am 12 and AF may appear tomorrow. I haven’t bothered testing, I feel like I already know and don’t need to see a negative test to upset me. It’s been almost freeing not dealing with negative tests this month.. is that weird? 😂

Interestingly @Lila34830 @Gemmaemilyx that would mean I also ovulated first day of my positive OPK!

@Lila34830 no I 100% get it.. I actually said to my OH after that scan this month I wish I never went as I was blissfully unaware and happy prior. I bet your TWW will fly by, hopefully you get that Xmas BFP 🤞🫶🏻

@KT199 I 100% agree with you, to me testing super early is torture and I feel like once you get over 8/9 dpo the stress turns into some kind of letting go ? Which is a bit better for my mental health than the early testing. But it's definitely hard and a gymnastic of the mind. First cycle I tested from 6dpo 🥲 and everyday lmao . Then I thought to myself I can't live this gain cause it sent me insane and really upset. Remember that you aren't out until AF shows! When is your period predicted ?

Yeah definitely from I think 10DPO I start to feel like it’s probably not happening this month. I’ve tested from 8DPO most cycles and tbh I felt at the time it helped me, but having a month of not doing that I actually have felt more relaxed!

Tbh it depends how many DPO I am, but anywhere between tomorrow and Friday based on the 10-12DPO window.

@KT199 I wouldn't not rule yourself out, we hear a lot of ppl having symptoms but there are also so many women who have no symptoms at all !

I know, I just don’t want to hold onto hope as I feel that’s what crushes you when it doesn’t happen 😂😂

10 DPO, still haven’t tested so taking that as an achievement, I’ve beaten my own record!! And whilst I’m not hopeful and think I’m out, I honestly think not seeing negative tests has helped me concentrate in work better and just get on with day to day stuff! Normally I get really down and sad after a test and it’ll ruin my morning / evening!

I also think there's a scientific reason why we need to wait until period (or at least v close to period)
(Although I caught a CP last month so no more 11 dpo testing for me but rather 12/13 😅

I know I had this convo with my OH actually and explained it could happen and he didn’t get it AT ALL. He was telling me to take a test and that’s how it came up and I said no, if I wasn’t going out Friday I wouldn’t even really want to test then, I think I’d have liked to wait until sat/sun!

I really think men are confused by it all tbh.. but, I had no clue until I’d been on this forum! The last 4 months of my life have been consumed by Google searches around TTC and being an avid mumsnet poster so 🤣🤣🤣 I must admit though nowadays I don’t Google half as much as feel I know most of it 😂

😂 my husband just delivers the goods when I ask him to and this is as far as his involvement goes because I told him it takes about 9/12 months to conceive on average so I think he is just prepared for the journey 🤣

SNAP 😂😂 he even still asks (which he has done every cycle, so shows how much he is retaining) when it would be ok to test. I always say late period but he did say once “but I’ve seen those 5 day early tests so why don’t we get them” then had to explain implantation ect 😂😂 he was just baffled!

I never tell him about the early tests I do in secret though 🤣

Tbh im glad one of us is laid back and careless it makes up for me being hyper aware and obsessive!!

Avoided the tests again this morning, 11-13 DPO. Temp increased this morning so most likely not the day for AF, but stranger things have happened!

I hope everyone has a lovely day! Work is keeping me busy, so hoping for another distracting day!

@KT199 I think you need a medal !!! Maybe we could launch a non testing competition to encourage eachother not to test early 😂

So, I had a big increase in temp today and if I ovulated when I thought vs my apps I was due AF today.. then in work today I have been SO sensitive to smells and started to get like pains in my stomach but higher than where AF would be more like bloating/gas kinda feeling. Other than today I started with sore boobs 2 days ago and I’ve had absolutely nothing else symptom wise I honestly thought AF was enroute. I don’t know if I’m 11 or 13 DPO for sure.

@KT199 so happy for you, if that can reassure you, when I had my CP the digital didn't even pick up any positive so yours is very strong for the dpo's ! These are strong lines !
Allow yourself to be excited.
Ps : I told my husband " one of my friend from the Dino club just had a positive test " 🤣 had to explain what the Dino club was. He was discombobulated and then asked where everybody was from and I said it's anonymous 😂😂😂
