Morning all! Back again. After convincing myself that AF had arrived yesterday with all the spotting, I put a pad in and no more spotting appeared all day!! Just woke up and had some slight more spotting when I wiped. Normally my spotting gets heavier quicker when AF arrives.. does this sound similar to anyone else's AF ?? Still all brown blood

@NoisyBee when is AF due? Could it be implantation x

I'm 9dpo today. My luteal phase is normally 11 days.. so spotting starting yesterday was early but AF is due. I never had implantation bleeding with my positive test in June so not sure what to expect. It feels like AF but earlier than normal and it normally starts quicker with my AF.

Did you get implantation before your BFP?

I didn’t get any but a lot of my friends have had it and it would work out time wise I think around then as I’m sure they say it’s most common between days 6 and 10 PO I think?

maybe give it today and see if you get any more or if it’s just there when you wipe and maybe do a test in a day or so if you’ve not had anything by then?

Thanks ! Yes I was trying to hold out til Tuesday so was so so gutted when I saw some blood yesterday. Hopefully there will be no more today or tomorrow and I can make it until Tuesday. Ive been really trying to lengthen my luteal phase so really sad to see it's shortened since last time of my AF comes

@littlebluu Sorry you’re feeling so rubbish, it is such a tough journey and no one prepares you for that. Fingers crossed you get your lucky cycle soon 😊 it is said to take 12 months for a normal healthy couple. If the lack of testing will help you then that’s defo the way to go! Hopefully Christmas and the move can keep you nice and distracted!

8DPO over here, not a sniff of a symptom!! I haven’t even got the normal bloating or anything as of yet. The lack of symptoms is making me not want to test anyway thankfully as I’m thinking there’s no way this is the month, especially after the stress i felt earlier this month too!

@KT199 I don't think symptoms mean much ! It can be so so different women to women as well ! It's great you're holding off testing , we have DTD today, I am peaking this afternoon so will DTD tomorrow too and the day after in case.. I am definitely waiting until 12 dpo if period hasn't come to test this cycle as I don't want to catch another CP ...

Yep, I know! It’s hard to not be a little disheartened but what will be will be 🫶🏻 a Xmas BFP would be amazing, but if not the consolation prize is that I can eat, drink and be merry!! 😂

I dont blame you, my AF is due on Friday according to my apps.. it is Xmas do day for me so I will probably have to test Friday morning if AF doesn’t arrive early on, as I would like to know if I’m safe to have a glass of Prosecco or two! I’m trying to get into the swing of not being an early tester, think latest I’ve ever left it is 9DPO soo, if I make it to 13DPO I will be proud of myself ! 😂

@KT199 I think 9 dpo in itself is a great performance you should be proud of yourself ! It is so hard no testing !!
Last month I was somehow really detached and only tested cause period was 1 day late but because my LP is 11 days I should have waited a couple of days really 😭
And yes! Peak is early this month on day 19 instead of day 23 thank god , I'll only pee on a stick tomorrow but then I'll leave it and that itself is pure rest 😂

@KT199 and definitely test before the Christmas party ! A Christmas bfp would be a dream but also so hard to hide as ppl would constantly ask why we aren't drinking 😂

I feel detached too this month, feel like it’s the heaviest month I’ve had in terms of ttc so wasn’t really hopeful it could be this cycle anyway, then the lack of symptoms on top is defo helping! Going to try keep some willpower, however the arrival of 10DPO considering that’s when most ladies on this thread have got their BFP’s will defo test me. I need to get up and wee without thinking 🤣 then it’s opportunity over!

Ahhh, it least it didn’t keep you waiting even longer than usual then! Hahaha, it’s funny to think not having to pee on a stick is now considered a “break” 😂. I find the first week of the TWW quite relaxing, not symptom spotting or anything!!

@Lila34830 @KT199 I get what you mean about feeling detached, I felt a bit like that too and I wonder if it’s to do with the time of year, so much going on in the lead up to the big C that our brains are going 1000 miles an hour and stuff like this is easy to put on one side! Xx

Promising yourself not to test until 10dpo, yet here I am 5dpo looking at a BFN and wondering why 🤣🤣🤣 I don’t usually get bfp till 10dpo and implantation probs not occurred yet -so why I do it to myself I’ll never know!!

AF has definitely arrived this morning now.. bbt dipped below cover line and more brown blood. Would be lying if I didn't say I was gutted even though the spotting made me go through an emotional rollercoaster thinking it had already arrived or could be implantation bleeding. Eurgh.. such a horrible feeling every month. Not sure what to try this cycle.. potentially going to order the proov tests then hoping that will give me something to go to GP with in the New Year.

It's impossible for anyone to have a bfp at 5 dpo so I would not even count it as a test! Pretend it didn't happen 😂

@HE93C you're right ! I was so busy last cycle it was at the back of my mind but I managed to let it go and I hope I can't do this cycle !

I think I'm one dpo cause I had ovulation pains last night like the cycle before, I think I ovulate really early after peaking !
Anyone gets really bloated around ovulation ??

What cycle number were you ?
Always remember it takes about 8/12 months for people to conceive, if that helps at all... that's what I keep repeating myself...

Thanks for messaging ! Came off the pill last October and been trying since then (although only started OPKs and bbts in March). Got a BFP in June but unfortunately ended in a MMC in August. From reading my short luteal phase, spotting and MMC feels like it could all be linked to low progesterone which was my original theory...scared of having another miscarriage again without having GP help so might try to investigate my progesterone before booking another appointment.
I now realise how lucky I was to even get a BFP as I know some people never get one :( but finding it hard to think that was my one chance and it's gone.

@Lila34830 ahhh, finally in the TWW! Pleased for you ☺️. I’m okay, not feeling hopeful, normal pre AF sore boobs have appeared and a slight headache. Haven’t tested this morning again, managed to wee before thinking 😂. Actually feel like I might achieve waiting for AF, my willpower feels strong!!

@KT199 the will power is so strong I'm so impressed !! Still really hope you'll have you bfp !

@NoisyBee bless you I can totally understand why you feel so deflated... I'm only cycle 6 but 5 cycles properly tracking ovulation (which is never on the predicted date on my app lol).
Have you spoken to your gp ? (Sorry if you already talked about it, so hard to keep track of ppl)
