We have reached 500 posts in the part 1 thread already and we are only a third of the way through November!! Starting a new thread here.

@LolaJ87 @LittleGeneral Thanks both, I had an unplanned pregnancy when I was 21. I was only pregnant for 8 weeks but apart from needing to pee more I had no symptoms or sickness at all. Don't want to get too cocky now that I am in my mid-30s as it might be different. Properly CD1 today so will pick myself up for next cycle.
Yes there are always silver linings. Have a big family bash in a couple of weeks that I can drink at without raising suspicions.

I’m so sorry @CoolSummer89 😔 it is so hard when you have been trying for so long - I understand exactly where you are right now, physically and emotionally. Thinking of you from across the world in Australia 🙏🏻

So I tested this morning (spent all last night feeling like I was about to throw up, had a fan on me and everything) but nothing came up within the window and then after the window I got this. I know its just an evap line but anyone else have this and actually turn out to be pregnant? On past tests even after the window I never got lines appearing so just wondering if anyone had an evap that turned into a bfp?

@Inked1518 bin the clearblue and pick up some pink dye tests if you can, even the cheap strips from poundland are better. Those clearblue have so many evaps, indents, floodings etc. that I have seen them cause too much heartbreak. I'm not exaggerating when I say they are a coin flip, I have no idea why they are so widely sold.

I really do hope these indicate something for you though.

Hi @Inked1518 how frustrating for you. No advice as I never experienced evaps with my first, however, I had nausea and negative tests from 7DPO then a positive at 10DPO so it's possible you might just be too early or as PP says, maybe the tests are rubbish. I used FRERs first time round and they were really clear.

Hope fine to join.. I'm new here, 38 and TTC cycle 7.. 2 days to go before AF is due, I've already taken a few tests as couldn't resist.. all negative. Had more DTD days this month and a later ovulation but I think a bit of me was really thinking this might be the one.. know it's not over until AF arrives but not convinced now!

I just wanted to send a virtual hug as I'm right there with you. Naively thought around planning for friends hen and wedding where I'm bridesmaid next year etc. I think I saw on a later post you said you had an unplanned pregnancy at 21 (sorry if this wasn't you and someone else) but I had the same as you and think the unplanned part led to me thinking it would be easier this time too.. it was hard to swallow the first few months but then got a bit easier but I think this month again feels like a bit of a toughie! Anyway sending hugs and hope you're doing ok!

@LolaJ87 oh really?? I always though clear blue were like a leading brand or something! That's really good to know! I'll go get some pink dye ones then! Thank you so much for the advise!

@Readysetgooo yeah it's very confusing! I admit I only looked at them for about a minute after they developed and then set them aside to drop the kids to school when I didn't think I could see anything. Read some stuff that says an evap line shouldn't have any colour so I'm really confused. No idea when that line really appeared even. I'm only 10dpo today so could be too early? I swear I have every symptom imaginable lol so really hoping I'm not out this cycle 🤞

@Inked1518 the whole two week wait thing really messes with your head. Sensible me would tell myself to forget about it and don't look into anything before you're late, other me is constantly symptom spotting. I'm 5DPO and my chocolate digestives taste disgusting because I've got a metallic taste in my mouth and I've got pains in my lower back. I know it's too early for pregnancy symptoms but can't help myself, moreso because the taste thing was one of my first symptoms with my son!

But see tbh I know all the science says it's impossible to feel anything but I'm very in tune with my body and I knew from 4dpo I felt different. I had unusual cramping that I out down to stomach issues (never stopped these mild cramps) I had the most ridiculous heart urn but again I suffer from heartburn from time to time so I ignored it until I couldn't the heartburn was making me feel sick so I had to go get tablets for it. I started to get blue veins in my hands and boobs, then around about 6 or 7dpo my entire face broke out one morning with spots everywhere from beside my eyes, my cheeks, my chin etc everywhere. So maybe I'm just delusional but I'm adamant I felt different even of that was just from hormones and not pregnancy since implantation can't happen that early, I knew something was different so unless my period arrives and I am off my rocker, I would say trust your body if you know yourself then you know what's unusual for you. Go with your gut 😊

That’s me out this month. AF showed up yesterday. I only came off the pill last month so to be honest I’m quite happy that I seem to have slotted back into my previous 28 day cycle. Fingers crossed it continues. I’m still not sure if I ovulated because I didn’t get any high or peak readings on the Premom tests but will get back to testing next week and see what happens.

Congratulations to everyone who has got their BFP this month and I’m keeping everything crossed for those still to test. 😊

CD5 of my fifth cycle today so fertile window will be end of next week! Even my DH is getting impatient now and said last night he just wants this TTC stuff to hurry up 😂
Anyone else started a new cycle and gearing themselves up again? Any tips for follicular phase?

@MoonDaydream @Lou98x I'm exactly the same boat - happened first time last time, so for it not to happen first time again was a little humbling! I guess 4 years later and closer to 40 might play a part for me

Hi @JDecember21 Welcome and congrats on your BFP! I'm going through similar feelings, except my BFP was yesterday at 13 DPO, hoping to get a darker line tomorrow at 15 DPO. How are you feeling? How are your lines progressing?
I've got dull cramps/ pulling in my lower abdomen a headache and waves of very mild sickness but nothing too bad.

There’s usually a thread set up under Pregnancy, due in X Month. Those of you with BFP’s are probably due in July? The pregnancy boards are fab resources, some of us ended up in a WhatsApp group last time, it was great support.

@Runsandbuns congrats to you too lovely thank you sooo much! Yes you will! This is mine currently on a not very sensitive test cheap 25ml. Obvs the 10ml hcg ones I’m getting better lines!! I’ve decided though I’m going to take a break from testing and temping now as I think it’s starting to worry me a bit more than it’s helping if that makes sense BUT it’s sooo tempting lol.

my symptoms have been from the start very sore sensitive nipples and boobs, TIRED, sense of smell, not felt very hungry.

The worst one though has been the need to urinate, I’ve been having strange cramps that aren’t period pains but kind of feel like a uti kind of feeling but took a uti test and negative!! It doesn’t burn when I go for a wee though so it’s not a uti it just feels like it mildly then it goes away. Maybe that’s just what the pregnancy ‘cramping’ feels like for me. No bleeding yet though touch wood. Cycle day 40 now was due on Monday.

overall I’m feeling very anxious and still in disbelief we have a 7 week reassurance scan booked and genuinely once I get that out the way il hopefully feel so much better all being well xx

I had a moment of weakness and bought a 6 day ultra early clear blue digital. Not pregnant 😭. I'm 9 DPO and AF is due in 5 days. Was this a stupid idea? Is there any hope or am I definitely out? I've been doing so well but it just messed with my head. 😭 Off for a hot chocolate now.

Snap me too, with both of my sons we fell first time. Now 5 years later just turned 40 and on cycle 4.

i looked back and only got a positive last time 3 days after my missed period so still holding out for the weekend after my period is due

@JDecember21 those line looks pretty solid to me, I know it is easier than it sounds (and I need to practise what I preach) but try and relax and lean into it and enjoy the moment- although I understand it’s hard not to and I’m stressing about a chemical pregnancy. Good idea not to test, I will probably do the same once I see some darker line progression.

Sending so much love to those who have had AF appear, baby dust to those who are in TWW, a huge congratulations to those who have had a BFP & positive thoughts those like me who have no bloody idea what’s going on!! So many new people to say hello to - so a big wave to you all.

I’m meant to be ovulating this weekend - a very sad funeral on friday may scupper dtd plans but we’ve stuck at it! Thinking we may be able to miss friday due to funeral, provided we keep up with dtd every day this week, and then dtd sat/sun to give us a good chance! Not holding out hope for this cycle due to fri & the likely stress it will cause but time will tell!

Have you had any symptoms making you think about testing?

I’m 11dpo today, according to my tracking app AF is due on a Friday (but no idea if that’s right as only my second period since a D&C, so think my cycle is all over the place!)
I want to try and hold out until Saturday to test. Last time I was 16dpo before I tested and got a very definite BFP

You're not out until AF appears lovely! Try not to despair - we've all been there and tested early - these things are never 100% so early on - stay positive and test again in a few days? Xxx

Thanks @MoonDaydream! Gahh maybe I won't... AF due on Saturday - I came on 5 days early last month - maybe thinking it was a chemical. No sign of it early this month so at least there's that..
I haven't had any symptoms to be honest but I didn't until the day I tested about 15dpo last when I had DD!

Have you had any symptoms? You sound very strong you have a plan to test 16dpo! X
