Is this implantation bleeding???

Hi ladies!!
Just need some advice.
I was having short sharp twinges this morning in my lower left pelvic area probably the area where my ovaries would be. They lasted intermittently for around an hour or so and I've just gone to the toilet and wiped and have light pink blood. Is this implantation? AF isn't due for another week or so.
Thanks 🥰

Hi. It could well be implantation as I have the same spotting and I have tested positive for pregnancy recently. Keep an eye on it by wearing a liner or pad. Good luck.

Thank you that's reassuring!
I should mention I'm around 8dpo.
I'll keep an eye on it. Definitely had a lot of short sharp pain this morning on and off so here's hoping 🤞🏼 x

The most common time for implantation bleeding is between 7dpo and 14dpo. So it sounds like the timing is right. Just don’t break your heart by testing too early. Try and wait until 14dpo.

I thought so! No I know it's definitely too early. I've put myself there before and tested way too early 🤣 it's just a waste of a test so I'll try my best to hold off. Still getting odd twinges here and there so I'll keep my eye on it 🤞🏼 don't think it's AF as it's a bit early for me

I had some bleeding just like that at 8dpo and I was pregnant that month! Nearly 12 weeks now. But I tested too early and it was horrible so definitely wait

Ohh that's reassuring! And congrats on your pregnancy 🩷😁
How many dpo did you test when you got your positive? Or long after your IB did you test? X

Hey I’m in the same boat !

We can be ib buddies 🤣 how many dpo are you? And have you had the same sharp twinges?! I had quite a lot this morning on and off. Not like period cramps. Just short sharp shooty twinges? And had them intermittently throughout the day today x

No sharp pains, but I am 9DPO and got this watery pink spotting when I wiped last night and had some cramping after, but no sign of early period.

my period is due on Tuesday so I’ll test then with a 25miu/ml test.

I'll send all the baby dust your way! My period isn't due for another week so I'll maybe test in about 5 days. I never get an early period so I'm hoping it is implantation! 🤞🏼 Hoping yours is too x

I got a very faint positive at 10 dpi - but like ridiculously faint. By 12 dpo it was obvious but still faint, and by 14/16dpo it was more strong

Yeah I'm trying so hard to hold off. I'm around 9dpo today roughly so I'll maybe give it a few more days! X

Ladies I know I bloody caved but the test was sitting there and I just had to lol!
However a horizontal line has come up?! Is this a faulty test? It's a normal Tesco test not early detection or anything. Thanks! 🩷

I think that test is faulty and that’ll be why there’s a horizontal line. You could also have flooded the test and maybe that’s why the display is dodgy. Always hold the test downward in your urine stream, never upwards.

Whatever the reason, I’d say to do another test. Also, I’d like to say that the early detection tests measure hCG at a level of 6IU/mg and the normal tests measure hCG at 25IU/mg. So don’t get early detection or you could set yourself up for unhappiness if you get a positive on early detection but the normal test never picks it up (because you might get arrested development before you’re 4 weeks pregnant).

Hi everyone
Just wanted some advice
I had a missed miscarriage back in May and was devastated.
We countined trying and I was using pre mom ovulation tests and had sex on my peak ovulation days peak day being 22nd Oct. The day before my period was due to start Monday 5th Nov I test for pregnancy and it came back positive very faint I did another test in the evening then negative I tested with a ovulation test and it was very positive on the day my period was due Tuesday 6th it was faint line and no period came I became very excited I took a clear blue weeks indicator test and it said positive 1-2 weeks since conception but was getting faint to no line in the day with the cheaper tests.
I had my reservations as my last pregnancy in March muly pregnancy test on the day was a very strong a positive line while the tests for this cycle have been very faint.
I kept retesting everyday and it was not getting stronger at all but I was feeling more tired and waking up to use the toilet more. I know they say Hgc is meant to double every few days and by 4 days of testing it hasn't been coming up no stronger just very very faint lines.
This morning 5th day I tested again and very very light positive but I've started bleeding with some cramping does this sound like a chemical miscarriage l?
I know the Internet is saying it is but it would be nice to get some human advice and interaction on this thank you very much in advance

Feliciacat · 10/11/2024 12:41

If the line isn’t getting darker and you’re now getting cramps, I would imagine it is a chemical. I’m sorry to hear it 💐

I actually just dipped this one in my urine! But I'll keep that in mind. It probably is faulty. I take it this looks like an evap line??

@sugardust90 have you just done another test straightaway? Your urine may not be concentrated enough; I don’t see any line in the big window on that second test. Try first thing tomorrow or maybe even in a couple of days to try and let hCG levels rise.

No that was the same test just after 5 mins before I chucked it in the bin!

@sugardust90 oh ok! Well I hope you get some positives soon on tests which aren’t dodgy!
