I don't know whether to go to the GP or not, don't want to make a fool of myself and waste his time.

If i was pg i am pretty sure i would have a bright line, and i don't therefore i don't think i can be pg, don't be sorry squacky i am not bothered if i am not pg really.

I tried really hard to see it, tilted my laptop n everyfink but I just don't see it. Was it with fmu? Are the pics in date order, are they getting lighter?

Oh no Lulumama, so sorry to hear of your loss , hope you are okay.

sureitsno3 · 27/04/2008 18:41

The one you see first on the profile page is todays, did it this aft, you may not be able to see it well, but was exactly the same as the other CB i did the other day, very faint line @ 5 mins and has dried a little darker.

Who knows eh

Just wish i would start AF, really do.

I've had another look and I think they might be evap lines, because they're barely there even the most recent ones.

That doesn't give you an explanation as to why you're late, unless you have O'd late this cycle as well.

Plenty of people on here have received verrrry late bfp's, so it is entirely possible, but the sooner you find out the better, as you can look after yourself properly etc.

The GP will not think you foolish at all. Your period is a week late after all. It would be a perfectly reasonable reason to visit to have this confirmed one way or another

sureitsno3 · 27/04/2008 18:43

I thought that (evap lines) but this was within probably about 3 mins! definately before 5 mins, on the leaflet it says do not read after 10.

OP posts:
Squackycake · 27/04/2008 18:47

Well if you can see the lines appear straightaway you are likely to be pg, but I do think you should go to the GP's.

I asked Dh what he could see and he said he could "maybe convince [himself] there was a line on one but nothing on the others".

But maybe it's hard to see on another computer iyswim.

sureitsno3 · 27/04/2008 18:50

They showed up within a min or so, not straight away instantly, maybe they could be evap lines, i don't know.
I am sick of looking/thinking about it now tbh, its doing my head in.

No, mine are always bang on every 28 days, thats whats so weird.

OP posts:
Nancy66 · 27/04/2008 19:16

I can't see anything on the tests either but then again I don't have the sharpest eyesight.
could you bear to take one more tomorrow with the first pee of the day (if you don't have any tests, perhaps nip out and buy one now?) and if that's STILL inconclusive then perhaps then make a GP's appointment.

sureitsno3 · 27/04/2008 19:30

Isn't it funny how quite alot have said they can see, and a few have said they can't.

I will go and have a chat with my GP tomorrow, i want an end to all this asap.

What about a digital test? There would be no is there isn't there, just a not/pregnant.

OracleInaCoracle · 27/04/2008 21:34

a digital wont come up bfp with lines that faint.

go to your gp!

NatalieJane · 28/04/2008 06:28

Good morning

Hope you get an appointment today and get an answer (or at least get on the way to getting an answer)

Let us know what happen's, obviously!

sureitsno3 · 28/04/2008 11:10

Hello,

Decided i will wait another week, i don't want to make a tit of myself with GP so will leave it 1 more week see if AF turns up.

Thanks again to everyone for being so helpful and kind through all this.

OP posts:
TheSlightestTeuch · 28/04/2008 11:59

Sure - you are a far more patient woman than I. If you are happy to wait, then that's fine, but you will not look like a tit for questioning this situation with a health care professional!!!

If you are going to wait, just keep an eye out for any sharp pains or severe cramping, particularly to one side. Someone else will know the other symptoms to look out for. Whilst it is quite unlikely, there is always a possibility of ectopic, which often gives faint +ves or low HcG counts.

sureitsno3 · 28/04/2008 12:02

Oh god, don't say that

Didn't know ectopics gave faint lines.

I have rang the GP and asked to have a word with him, going to phone back between 2 and 4.

OP posts:
TheSlightestTeuch · 28/04/2008 12:05

Sorry, I didn't want to worry you!! Just make sure you are aware of what to look out for.

I'm no expert on ectopics - hopefully someone else can come and reassure you - I just am aware of the faint +ves bit.

Don't worry - speak to the doc and take it from there.

I'm nothelping, am I?!

NatalieJane · 28/04/2008 12:06

The other things to look for ectopic is shoulder pain and bleeding, also a bloated belly.

I can't believe you are going to wait another week. Get thee to the GP's now, he will not think you're wasting his time.

sureitsno3 · 28/04/2008 12:07

Lol Teuch course you are helping.

I don't think i am pg anyway, but will have a word with doc anyway, saves going in.

OP posts:
Disenchanted · 28/04/2008 12:07

I also think you should go today.

NatalieJane · 28/04/2008 12:09

Sure, you are pregnant, you don't get positive test's if you're not pregnant.

You need to go to the doctors, soon.

sureitsno3 · 28/04/2008 12:11

Yes but i don't think they are positive now, don't know what they were.
