We aren't ttc but aren't preventing; just seeing what happens without stress. If it happens it happens. Our other kids were all conceived easily and through the years I've become pretty switched on to my fertility. Im 40 and have generally had a 29 day cycles and seemed to ovulate around cd13-16. Over the past year, my cycles have been getting further apart, so I assumed I was in peri. During the summer, I went 50 days between periods. In September my cycle randomly went back to 29 days.
My husband has to work away quite a lot this month so we wont be able to have much sex. We dtd in the early hours of cd 6. The next day I got brown ewcm and what I recognise as ovulation pain. Two days later, I'm still having the brown ewcm and pains and am wondering if I'm gearing up to randomly ovulate early.
I was a bit disheartened at having to potentially miss a month but am wondering should I be feeling hopeful. I don't track ovulation as I generally just go by the ewcm and pain, and it has always been accurate in the past!
Has anyone ever ovulated early, randomly and out of nowhere? And got pregnant?
