Ovulation after miscarriage…

Hiya everyone, so I started bleeding last Tuesday and unfortunately had a miscarriage, absolutely heartbroken. I’ve been advised to take an aspirin a day and track ovulation as the way I’m dealing with it is I want to be pregnant again asap, I just feel so empty, so that’s what I’ve been doing and oh my actual god I have NEVER had an ovulation test so dark! Is this left over pregnancy hormones doing this? Or could I be ovulating? As you can see my pregnancy tests are dying off now and getting super light, I know it’s probably just pregnancy hormones doing it to the ovulation test but I just wanted to check Xx

I’m so sorry for your loss! It’s most likely pregnancy hormones triggering such a dark line. I did the same after my MC got some really dark lines then realised it was because I still had HCG in my system!

Hi @Kels21 i conceived 2 weeks after my last d&c so it’s entirely possible to go straight into a normal cycle. In fact I always did (I’ve sadly had 6 miscarriages)

I ovulated 2.5 weeks after my surgical evacuation, despite still having a faint line on pregnancy test. I knew I was ovulating because of EWCM and then my period arrived 2 weeks later as I was expecting. If you can keep an eye on your CM, that might be a helpful indicator for ovulation too. Sending best wishes xx
