I've recently come off the pill (desogestrel). Not had a period yet. Have DTD, feel like it's very unlikely pregnant but know it only takes one time! But I have pregnancy symptoms - cramps, EWCM, nausea so wondering if I test

How do you know when in these circumstances as mo missed period as only just come off the pill

EWCM and cramps are more likely to be ovulation signs than pregnancy signs, but wait and see if period shows up. If not take a test x

Buy one cheap strip tests from Amazon, along with some ovulation tests. Should be about £10 for both and it will help work out your cycle / answer your question if it’s positive already

@Fisharenotfoods I've got ovulation strips already.

Tempted to see how the next few days go and then might buy a cheap pregnancy test. If it's positive I'll then get a clear blue one to double check. Something in me thinks yes but at the same time we would be VERY lucky if it is a yes!

I would wait another week or so.
Most women don't get any symptoms that early. In both my pregnancies I just felt like AF was coming so no different to any other month until the sore boobs kicked in

JB2021 · 04/11/2024 06:52

@sel2223 yea kinda feels like AF coming woth cramps but it's the nausea is so similar to when I was pregnant with #1

If it feels like it did with your first pregnancy, then definitely worth a test! Good luck

@sel2223 think I know if it's positive we've been REALLY lucky so I think it's unlikely but at the same time if it's a no then we can really get on DTD more! And I'll be upset if it's a no but expect that to be the reality
