anyone Else?

im 35 now. I had my amh tested at 29 and I had a very high ovarian reserve. Could it have slashed in that time? My cycles are the same as they’ve ever been

I know that AMH peaks at about 25 and does then decline from that point so it’s possible it has dropped, some things can make it drop quicker.

How long have you been trying for? Remember there’s only a roughly 20% chance of success each cycle even if everything is perfectly timed and perfectly well, I think it’s around 15% at age 35, so not conceiving quickly doesn’t automatically mean anything is wrong it is a game of odds.

Good luck x

What makes it drop quicker? I was 29/30 when I first had it tested and it was pretty high, close to 50 I think

my mum didnt start menopause until well over 50, I don’t know whether to be reassured by that or not?

this will be our 5/6 months

Age is a factor, so this info is from a fertility site:

“Generally, the number of eggs starts to fall significantly around age 25, more rapidly around 30, and then even more steeply around 36. AMH levels fall as your egg count reduces.”

But there are other things that can also cause low AMH like a bad diet, takeaways/junk/oily/fatty foods can impact AMH, stress because the stress hormone can impact AMH, some medical conditions can also impact it.

Yes! Also 35

For me I can get pregnant but I can't get beyond 8 weeks

I have been broken this week.

How old are your two DC?

@Mrsttcno1 I am really going to turn my health around after the weekend in preparation for my new cycle.

I was doing well but my eating gradually got out of control through my pregnancy and then when I lost the baby I have been comfort eating.

I am not overweight but I am currently living on sugar and junk

I’m sorry for your loss!

my children are 5 and 3

i was told before my amh was above average so I just assumed a proportional decline
