CD 5 today, af seems to be tailing off now. How is everyone doing?

Well period started and stopped yesterday and today and I am 15dpo. I just want it to get on with it so I can start the next cycle

thats pretty frustrating. My period this cycle was fairly light and only 3 days. To begin with I wasn’t sure what was going on as it was so light on day 1.

Have you done another test? I had bleeding with DS - thought I’d had a period. Continued on and off for the first trimester xx

@Emiily887 yeah I have and it was negative. I have just had a bit more blood upon going to the loo so let's see if it starts or another false start.

Hi all I’m new here but asking for some advice please we are trying to conceive our 4th child I have pcos but I’ve been extremely lucky to have 3 beautiful children I’ve had a late miscarriage at 18 weeks had to deliver my little boy I’ve also had 2 miscarriages around 6-8 weeks, I’m 38 now and we’ve decided we would like to add to our family and I feel if it doesn’t happen soon it’s not going to ever happen, my periods are all over the place before my last I hadn’t had one for 4 months but my mum passed quite suddenly so I’m putting it maybe down to stress and hoping it’s not down to age or early menopause my cycles are usually anywhere between 35-45 days long which is frustrating as it’s always a loooong wait to find out, we dtd last tuesfay and Thursday which was days 20 and 22 in cycle we was just guessin ovulation by an app when it’s likely to ovulate I decided to do an ovulation test on the Friday and it was faint line I’m aware it’s not positive untill line is as dark as control line but everyday since then it’s been completely negative no line at all so could I of ovulated before Friday and it was light and now nothing as I already ovulated or can I just count that line as no sign of ovulation can anyone relate to this regarding ovulation or have some advice please thank you sending you all baby dust xxx

Sorry to hear that you have PCOS and about your late miscarriage, it must have been really tough to go through that.
You may have ovulated and caught the tail end of it when you got the faint line. Although I don’t know how reliable OPK are with PCOS.
Have you tried BBT? May also be worth asking about ovulation blood tests to see whether you are regularly ovulating. If you did ovulate last week, you should be able to test in the coming week or so.
I know it is really hard when you want one more, especially with added struggles. I suffer from endometriosis and have a lot of issues with holding a pregnancy. I am trying for baby no 3 and have been trying for most of this year.
All I can say is you’ve come onto a very supportive thread full of amazing ladies - they really have kept me sane the last few cycles and I hope you are able to get something out of it too. Thinking of you and sending hugs xx

I’m so sorry to hear about your losses and that you find yourself joining this thread. Although, everyone on here is lovely and very supportive.
I also have PCOS and was told by the fertility team that OPKs are useless in PCOS if you’re not medicated. I was using them for the first 18 months we were trying to find out I wasn’t even ovulating. My cycles ranged between 45 days to the longest being 104 days. It was an awful time.
Now I take letrozole to help me ovulate they told me to do OPKs alongside BBT, I still find sometimes I get a faint line then back to nothing before then ovulating at a later point. For example - today it measure 0.24 on CD9, but the usual trend will be that it’ll be very very faint or nothing there for a few days before suddenly surging and being very dark.

@Emiily887 thank you so much for your advise I’ve never really had Major probs trying to conceive it’s after, but I’ve not tried for 6-7 years now and I’m aware I’m older now so it’s not going to be easier but we will keep going your kind words mean alot and I’m so sorry you are still trying after a year 😞 I’m sending lots of baby dust your way and hope your next testing. 9dpo for me today and still bfn! Feeling deflated but know still early days! This cold has taken over me and had to take a few days off work! I'm only testing with wondfo, anyone got experience with these showing early? Can only get frer on amazon here in UK and they r quite expensive but wondering about boots early test which are so much cheaper!

How is everyone else doing?

@Sammig1986 welcome lovely! Can only echo what the ladies have said this is the most supportive group and has really kept me going these months. I can see that the others have already answered about the ovulation question, I’m not as familiar with it as I’ve only been doing the digital opk. I’m so sorry to hear about the journey you’ve had and your losses, I admire you so much for keeping on that journey. It takes incredible strength to keep going after loss. It isn’t for the faint heartened as no one really prepares you for how difficult the journey can be to have a child. I had a mc with our first at 9 weeks so I also know the pain of it. Trying for our second pregnancy now and struggling with my mood and the ups and down of it all but all the lovely ladies have been here and been so nice💕🩷

how’s everyone doing today?

Unfortunately my period turned up last night so onto cycle number 5 since loss. All I can hope for is that I get a BFP for Christmas.
Just an FYI it is black Friday on Amazon so some pregnancy tests and ovulation tests are on offer

@JoMummyJessica it is so disheartening isn’t it 😔it’s the worst feeling. 9dpo still early, there is still time. I didnt start seeing a vv faint line until 11/12dpo on the wondfos. Interestingly the wondfos are the ones giving me the darkest line atm. I’ve heard mixed reviews and I know how to look out for evaps now. But they are pink so 🤷‍♀️🤞
so I would say from my experience yes they do show up earlier. But yeah, easy@home showing fainter and so far the wondfos seem to be darkest. Frer is also vv faint, fainter than the wondfos. Another Amazon cheapy is also showing darker than both the easy@home And frer. And yes agree the frer are pricey!
I have never tried the boots early tests so yes maybe try that and let us know how you get on 🤞🤞I am praying and keeping everything crossed for you my lovely! 💕🩷

Hello everyone!

I'm 9DPO today and the TWW is killing me. My husband and I have been trying to conceive since 2020 with no luck so far.

Not really any symptoms yet apart from being so hungry I could eat a horse and sleeping lots. I'm hoping these are good signs but likely just consequences of life 😅

The temptation to take pregnancy tests is too high, I decided to do an ovulation test instead to try and temper my urges. It came back with a line a bit lighter than the control, I would have expected it to be lighter.

I consulted Dr. Google and can't really seem to find anything on what ovulation tests usually look like in the TWW (not that surprising I suppose!)

@souiii i think i was googling that yesterday 😅 i think i missed my surge and tbh never used ov tests before so i gave up with them and just went with my body instead!

Have been cramping since not long after ovulation and had some more intense cramps yesterday and day before, really unusual for me but just feel like am due on, but not due till next Tuesday/wednesday, so confused right now but as of today, not even a hint of a line on strip tests, i also did a clear blue this morning too, nothing 🙃

So much for “lets just see what happens” 😂

I confirmed ovulation with the tests on the 12th. I typically track my cycle using Flo, and it had my predicted ovulation date as the 8th. Some previous cycles I have just gone by my body and never had success. I would definitely recommend using them as I would have missed it!

@souiii i use flo too! Think mine was a day or 2 out on predictions, next cycle we will cover for a good week afterwards 😅 the tww is also my 2 week break lol!

I was thinking of tracking bbt next cycle too, am usually a 28 day cycle give or take a day! will see what i can find on amazon 👀

This is the ovulation test at 9DPO. I would expect it to be lighter. Although I'm not sure if it is just wishful thinking and imagining it will mean something when I test with a pregnancy test

I’m 9dpo if I ovulated before the test got lighter which I’m not sure as I hadn’t tested before and it’s been negative everyday since i had a line I’ve always tested positive 8dpo with a first response 6 day early test they are all reliable for me all confirmed pregnancy’s all I’ve have 3 children and 7 pregnancy’s so I’m tempted to test but I’m too scared lol I’m trying to hold out for tomoz which is I’ll be 10po then I’ll no for sure I’m out i hope u all have your bfp sending lots of baby dust xxxx

@souiii I’ve had cycles where my line has been like that all through out my cycle and darker at peak I’ve had pregnancy’s with positive ovulation strips up untill my bfp too not sure how much longer they would ot been like that we after my bfp I never took a ovulation test after so it could be a sign this month mine completly negative and I’m a few days from being out for the month so it just depends lovely wishing u a bfp please let us no the outcome xxxx
