Advice about OPKs (first time TTC)

Hi does anyone have any advice? Just started trying for baby n2 this month, my first time using an OPK (my first little one was an unplanned pregnancy).
According to my Flo app, I should be ovulating tomorrow. I DTD on Tuesday and yesterday, and have been taking ovulation tests once a day since Wednesday. I haven’t got a positive so far, but the thing is the test line is getting lighter and lighter (for some reason the control line seems to be doing the same).
Is it normal for an ovulation test to get lighter before peak, or could this mean I had already ovulated before my first test? (I did have a slightly shorter cycle this month - my period normally comes every 29/30 days but there was only 27 days between my September and October periods. I came off my period on October 23rd).

I thought so! Honestly they are the worst opks I have ever used! Their lines are always so faint, they have terrible reviews online too. I would highly recommend changing to another brand. I personally recommend wondfo (can buy on Amazon) the lines are much darker and easier to see positive vs negative . This was my positive using them x

Hi @EP1994 Im in a similar situation with the lh strips this month, its my second month using them and last month they did work and I got a blazing positive line at day 14 but now today is day 14 of this cycle and the line isnt strong at all and seems to be getting lighter some days then slightly darker them lighter again. I have symptoms of ovulation with ewcm so no idea whats going on. Im dtd every second day since cd9 so hoping ill be covered either way

@EP1994 Very confusing, Im wondering if I got a faulty pack. Its the same brand I used last month but nowhere near close to a peak at cd14. I have a few left so ill test for a few more days. Will you try a different brand?

I will order the Wondfo ones that Yellowdaff25 recommended above and in the meantime I'll try a Clearblue one tonight!
