7 days of positive ovulation tests and some increased BBTs - what is going on?!

I wondered if anyone has had a similar experience and/or if anyone could shed any light on what might be happening/if I ovulated?

I started using a new device to track my temperature this month, so I only have temperature data from day 14 onwards. I usually ovulate between days 18-21 and get a positive OPK for 1-2 days each cycle.

I had a temperature dip and a positive OPK this month on day 18. The next day, my temp rose, and my heart rate increased, so I assumed I had ovulated on day 18.

However, I continued getting positive OPKs on day 19 and day 20. Then, on day 21, my temperature dipped again, and I had an even stronger OPK positive (test line darker than the control line). So I assumed my body wasn't successful with the first ovulation attempt, and instead, I was ovulating on day 21.

Even though my temperature has risen, I continue to get strong positive OPKs every day I test. It's now day 24.

For reference, I don't have PCOS. I suspect I am perimenopausal, so I may not have ovulated successfully/my body is still trying. But I can't understand the increased temperatures if I haven't ovulated - and I can't understand the LH still being in my system if I have ovulated!

Thanks a lot for reading
