Positive or Evap Line

Im very confused whether this is an evap line or a positive line.. I’ve been ttc for a while now and every other test I’ve done has been negative other than this morning… I’ve done these tests in the past and I’ve never had an evap line show always just been negative.

I am due on my period in 3/4 days so I did a clear blue 6 day early test and within 3-5 minutes I had a very faint line (suspected faint positive) left it for about another 2/3 minutes came back and the line was a lot darker. Just wanna know if it’s definitely a positive or an evap line…

first photo is when I first looked at it in the 5 min frame time and the 2nd is when I looked back again after around 2/3 minutes. Im obviously gonna test again in a few days just with it being my first ever “positive” im very excited but also very worried its just an evap line.

That looks promising! Can you get a first early response as that reacts to lower hcg, good to test with two different kinds too if you're worried about evap. Tentative congratulations!

Not sure with this one. It doesn’t look like a full line…? Maybe try another or a pink dye test.

Will look at getting one tomorrow or Monday, as like I say I’m not due to come on my period until Tuesday so was gonna wait a few days and do another one.

Ah you're more patient than me 😅 mine was an ivf pregnancy so was testing at equivalent 9dpo watching my faint positive turn into a strong one now a 15 month old :)

I hate clear blue with a passion because their evaps are horrendous but yours looks promising. The line is definitely there and not warped at all. Fingers crossed for you x

I hope it’s a positive will update in a couple of days if I’m definitely pregnant as gonna do a digital one, which are the best tests to get as I know clear blue are quite bad as they always show evaporation lines but every clear blue test I’ve done have never shown an evap line or positive it’s always just been the negative line… so when seeing that one today I got so happy and excited but then when I read up there was a lot of people saying they give evap lines so that’s why I’m just on edge as im worried I’m not actually pregnant and it’s an evap line

The digital ones require a much higher hcg so he aware just in case, pink dye most sensitive particularly a frer, just in case you get a false negative on digi

Where in the UK can I get a first response one from I’ve only ever used the clear&simple and clear blue ones. I’ve always had negatives and then a day later my period would come so this is my first time seeing a positive. But thank you all for your responses I appreciate them and it puts my mind to ease a little more knowing it is possibly a positive and not a evap line but will definitely try and get a first response tomorrow

I’ve done these ones today… the digital is saying “not pregnant” but then the clear blue 6 days early is showing this, these are the only 2 tests I had left to take with my morning wee I will be getting a pink dye test later today to do tomorrow. I know the digi ones need a high HCG but just thought I’d do them both together this morning and this was the results in the 5 minute time frame.

That line on the new test looks too thin to be a positive I think 🙁

I got a very faint line on clear blue on Monday. It basically looked like your first photo. I didn't get a positive on a clear blue digital until Thursday just because it needs a higher level of HCG. I really rate first response tests which I get on Amazon. They're a lot clearer to see and also (for me) have never given me an evap line.

I’m gonna wait to see if my period comes in the next few days and if I have not come on my period then I’m gonna do a clear blue digital as I’ve ordered some FRER tests and they’re not arriving until Tuesday/Wednesday so will do them when they come to

Hey everyone… little update did a pink dye test and this was the result in 2 minutes… my period was meant to come today and still no sign of said period.

Update — I’ve had a chemical pregnancy and was definitely pregnant but unfortunately my body didn’t allow it this time round… first time I’ve ever conceived in my life… just thought I’d update you guys on what’s happened. So it was definitely a positive test.
