Is this really positive?

I’ve been let down in the past by a false positive caused by flooding 😞
last night I had a vvvfl on a pink dye so I followed up this morning with a blue dye and I see a line but it’s not dark at all!

I was 10dpo on the pink and 11DPO on the blue…
am I being fooled again? This TTC journey is so cruel

I can see also see a faint line on the clear blue, so hopefully it gets darker in the coming days, congratulations

It does look like a faint positive, it should get darker if you tests again in a couple of days.

I found the first response ones were better for early on (years trying ttc and went a bit crazy/spent a fortune buying so many diff tests)

i would say its positive. On the blue test its very clear. It wouldn't have a line if you didn't had pregnancy hormones. It should get darker as the time progress

GroovyChick87 · 26/10/2024 07:21

I think they are faint positives. They aren't evaps because it's a complete line with some colour, it's just very faint. I would buy a First Response test today and that should show a darker positive. Or wait a couple of days and retest on those tests.

Thanks so much everyone, this has been so helpful.
i stupidly did a digital test only two hours after the clear blue and it said not pregnant. I suspect it’s because I didn’t hold my urine long enough and it’s still so early?? It says it’s still 10iu sensitive so I thought that would show positive too! Ah well I’ve ordered some first response so I’ll take one of those tomorrow morning. We got so disheartened with trying that we didn’t actually actively try this month so I’m really shocked!

I also think they look positive (tentative congratulations!) and the CB digitals are not very sensitive. I had faint lines on wondfo test strips at 8 & 9 dpo, but negative on digital later in the day 9 dpo. I don't think I'd held long enough and my urine was more dilute. I got 1-2 weeks on digital with fmu 10 dpo. Keeping everything crossed for you 🩷

Thankyou! I’ve ordered some first response to try now. Fingers crossed! I feel crampy and nauseous today!

@Amy341 Yes I can see lines on both tests! Congratulations 🙌🏻 As others have said the digitals sometimes can be a hit and miss, plus you'd be better off with FMU! ✨ x
