Anyone had 5 days of implantation bleeding?!

I usually have very heavy periods but last Monday on day 27 of my cycle, I started bleeding very lightly. Cycle is usually 28-35 days. Thought it was period starting but it's now only spotting/only a little brown when wiping. It's now day 5 of this and I'm feeling very nauseous. No other symptoms and have a BFN this morning.

How long did you wait after implantation bleeding to test?! And is 5 days too long?! Have I tested too early? Am I getting my hopes up? Haha! Thanks!

It's so hard not to get your hopes up! I "thinkkk" I had almost a week of implantation bleeding (although I've come here to try and see if that's normal too as they can't check anything until a 6 week scan!) I did get a very faint positive on the day my period was due and then started spotting the next day. The tests have continued getting darker and darker throughout and since so I think if you're past when your period would have been and still negative then it's probably negative :'( so sorry xx

Omg I know right! It's so hard! Thank you for your reply. I think I got the days wrong as my app says I'm on day 30, so I started light spotting on day 25, which was about 6DPO I thinkkk l. My period is due anywhere from day 28-34 so I'm still not past the period dates yet. I'm trying to distract myself, but it's so hard!!!

I started spotting at 6dpo, had three days of spotting followed by 3 days of heavier period-like bleeding (got my positive on the third day of that at 12dpo) and then another day of spotting. The whole thing was weird but it was definitely implantation bleeding.

Oh wow!! My spotting is still so light, it did stop and then restarted..I'm now on day 5 (I thought I started spotting Monday but it was Tuesday). I'm also only 11DPO but still had BFN. Trying to distract myself and wait a few more days to see what happens.

Mine also started and stopped each day, weirdly always stopped in the evening & overnight then started again in the daytime. Everything crossed for you!

Joining as I have had very similar this month. Very light spotting from 8dpo to 11dpo. I’ve tested today 12dpo and negative. Waiting for my period in a few days now.

Unfortunately it ended in AF. Im convinced it was a failed implantation as it was only brown and pink, and then bright red and heavy suddenly. Here's to next month!

I was thinking the same about failed implantation. I’ve never spotted that early in my cycle and it was definitely around the time implantation should occur. I also had sore boobs but that seems to have eased off now.

It’s only my first cycle TTC so I was confused about what was going on then started getting my hopes up when I read about implantation bleeding. Never mind, I know it would have been very lucky to conceive first try!

So sorry @Natasha198 😔 TTC is such an emotional rollercoaster. This is only my first try this time around too, but it took almost a year to have my son so I know how much these things blow.

I had my 6w3day scan to check if everything was ok and the yolk sack and a potential baby was there, but it wasn't measuring as big as they'd expect and no heartbeat 😔 Booked in for another scan next week as I could have just ovulated/conceived slightly later in the cycle or it could be a missed miscarriage and the baby just stopped developing early on 😔 .... more waiting to come.......

Hi everyone, starting this thread in the hope someone has or is going through something similar to me.. sorry in advance, it's a long one!

This is our 3rd (proper) month TTC #1. I've been tracking my LH surge with clear blue ovulation tests (pink smiley face ones) and the last two months have had an LH surge (Nov CD 22 / Dec CD 18). My cycle differ each month, one month it's around 30/31 days, the next 28/29, then 30/31 again and so on. I also have a short luteal phase of about 8 days. My period has always been roughly on time and is regular every month, lasting around 6-7 days. I've been off birth control since Oct 23.

To lengthen my luteal phase, I started vitamins - proceive tables (not the sachets) on 27th Dec 24, omega 3 on 3rd Jan 25 and vitamin C & b6 on 4th Jan 25.

My last AF arrived 25th Dec 24 and lasted until 31st Dec 24 (7 days in total) - so it ended CD 7.

I then started testing for my LH surge straight away and me and DH DTD every other day. However I didn't get an LH surge this month (Jan 25) but had light pink spotting on CD 20.. I've never had bleeding mid cycle before so wondered if this was ovulation bleeding (never had that before either) and maybe the test missed the LH surge somehow. So me and DH DTD!

I carried on testing for my LH surge but it never came. Then on CD 25, I noticed a strand of blood (brown/dark red) when I wiped, and on another occasion a blob of discharge (browny/pinky) when I wiped. As the days have gone on, the discharge has increased and has gone from brown watery with strands to brown thicker stringy discharge. Also yesterday and today I did a jog (first bit of exercise in ages as I caught the dreaded Christmas cold) and noticed that after I had more brown discharge when I wiped and on my pad (not enough to soak or I'd get if I was on my period).

I'm now on CD 29 and this is my 5th day with this brown discharge. As someone who has always had a regular period that has been the same type of flow (start brown but by the second day go red), I'm so confused what's happening this month. I did a clear blue early pregnancy test on CD 28 just incase and it was negative.

Could this brown discharge be my period that has just come early and is a different flow this month?

Could it be implantation bleeding? There's so much conflicting information online..

Could all the new vitamins have caused no LH surge and this bleeding?

Any thoughts or ideas would be really appreciated as I'm worried I've messed up my cycle by taking these vitamins or that something more sinister is going on ☹️
