Letrozole OPK/ovulation experience

Hi everyone.

I'm on my first cycle with Letrozole 2.5mg (PCOS) and getting the strongest OPKs I've ever seen in our 17 months of trying! Previously the highest OPK score on the premom app I ever managed to get was 1.3 around CD 21 and usually it would be around 0.4 now I'm on 2.2 on CD15!

Should I expect it to get higher or do we think this is ovulation day?

I've had so many unusual symptoms over the last couple of days too, PMS style bloating, plus nausea and headaches. I usually don't notice any symptoms like these so hoping this means I'm ovulating properly and the eggs are mature enough. Though I do feel a bit too uncomfortable to DTD which feels a little counterproductive, but I'm pushing through that!

This is the first month in a long time that I'm feeling like there's some hope this might happen for us. 🤞🏻 And if it's a BFN this month then at least it's only 28 days until the next test (my natural cycles are usually longer). Hopefully this also gives some hope to others looking to start Letrozole.

I've just started my first cycle of letrozole today 2.5mg, I have PCOS and all previous OPKs are virtually non existent! How did you get on after your 1st cycle?

@Emily0303 I successfully conceived that cycle! Currently 6 weeks pregnant! Best of luck to you!
