Periods after miscarriage

Hello, I'm just after a bit of advice and your opinions please. 6 weeks ago I had a very early miscarriage - following that my March AF came on it's due date. As its stands now my AF is 3 days late but HPT's say negative. Could it just be my body readjusting and it was just a fluke that my March AF was on time - or can I keep clutching at straws and hope that I am pgt and will get a BFP in few days???

I got pregnant the month after a miscarriage and it's possible BUT it may be that you are still settling down.

I personally would go see the doctor on Monday if it's still not come and ask them to test you - simply because your cycle length will still be a bit shot to hell and your GP can follow up if your periods have stopped (there may be other reasons for it).

I got pregnant after a m/c but went on to m/c again (who knows if related or not - they say its not statistically higher).

My periods were all over the place for about 6 months though after those 2 m/c so I'd go to doctor and check as whomovedmychocolate is right about there potentially being other reasons for it .

My first full cycle after mc was shorter, I temp/OPK so I know that it was the luteal phase that was 3 days shorter than normal. I think sometimes things take a while to settle down. You could well have ovulated later, so you may not be quite due yet. Still time for a BFP, good luck and I hope it is for you.

Unfortunately, I think the rules are there aren't any rules I had a period 31 days after my mc, which is a couple of days longer than my average cycle. I temp, so I knew I ovulated a few days later than I normally would. I had spotting all throughout that cycle - I also had heavy spotting for a few days before my period and counted that as part of my period. Did you have anything similar? that would make your cycle a couple of days out. I guess what I'm trying to say is it could definitely be your cycle just settling.

But I'd give it a few days and if still no AF, then test again. Fingers crossed for you.

My cycles have been alover the place since my most recent mmc, i am ov'ing a week later and my periods have changed compltly.. i also no seem to have some CM issues

I was told it could take 6 months for things to settle down again but they may never go back to how they were before.

i have had 3 mc and each one has changed things.

Hi, I also had a m/c in feb. I tested using OPK during march and didn't ovulate that month that all. Period arrived 6weeks after m/c. Think things generally take a while to settle down after a m/c, never know though may be lucky!

AF arrived today - back to the drawing board
