I'm just going to tag you guys here just in case you want to check in every now and then. I'm
aware that so many of us are at different stages of our journeys now 🥹. I hope everybody is doing well wherever you may be on yours xx

Technically I’m 12 weeks today @Jadeypie but I’ve always measured about one week behind so I’ll be expecting the same when I’m back in on Wed. I’ve never had bad sickness, it’s always just been nausea and feeling a bit off. I’ve constantly got this horrible taste in my mouth though, feels a bit like a hangover without the fun night out 🙃

@xxcxdonxx oh that's why your starting to feel normal abit now then.

I'm hoping my sickness will ease in a few weeks. It did with my son but I crnt remember being this bad with him. Also I have that taste, knocks me sick.

I would be be measuring behind if I went from lmp date but I havnt gone from that. Also baby's can catch up with dates too xx

Hello, delighted and still in shock to report that all was well at my
scan! I’m measuring 11+6 meaning so due in early December.
I actually cried when she told me
everything was ok, I think out of sheer relief.

I don’t think the fact there will be baby at the end of this has sunk in, I haven’t really allowed my brain to go there!

Oh you are quite right. I work from home so it’s easier for me to take it easy when not feeling great but I can’t imagine how tricky and exhausting that is when you are on your feet all day.

@xxcxdonxx Congratulations, you must be so happy!
I'm ok, trying to resist another scan til next week 🙃 I feel tired and feel sick if I don't eat so assuming they're good signs, no odd taste in my mouth though!
@Jadeypie you might as well have time off, hopefully the sickness will ease soon!

Is your next scan your 12 week one? I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait another 8 weeks but hopefully I’ll start to have more comfort when I start to show and feel movement etc.

Definitely good signs! I thought I was past my sickness but feel horrible this afternoon x

@xxcxdonxx yeah, I've not got a date for it yet tho but I plan to book a private one end of next week which will be between 10 and 11.
It's a long time from 12 to 20 weeks, will they give you one at 16? It amazes me how few you get given!

@xxcxdonxx the wait between scans is soooo long!!

@Paws4thought normally if your classed as a high risk pregnancy you get more scans i didn't with James just 12 and 20 week one. But with this one I will be because the shape of my womb xx

I've not heard anything from the midwife either i don't no Wether to leave it another week or chase them up. How many weeks was use when use had your first appointment? I'm either 8 tomorrow or 7+4 x x

@Jadeypie I’m sure mine was around 8 weeks. My midwife was going on holiday however so I think squeezed me in before then so maybe that’s why it was quite early. Hopefully you get your appointment through soon.

@Paws4thought there’s been no mention of any extra scans just now but I wouldn’t say no to them! There was chat at my midwife appt. of seeing a consultant, not sure if that’s due to my history or not so things might change but I won’t find that out for another few weeks x

@xxcxdonxx i will give it till next week then ring if ive not heard anything. I think consultant led you get more appointments but not 100% sure xx

Any thoughts on avoiding whippy ice cream from an ice cream van? I've had a couple in last few weeks and my sister mentioned it should be avoided due to risk of listeria if machine not cleaned properly and now I'm stressed about it 🙈

I’m back in a bit of a strange limbo period now I’ve had my 12 week scan but don’t have any other appointments for a few weeks yet. Feels like a lot of waiting about for some physical evidence!

Yayy it's amazing how much they have grown at 12 weeks!! Glad all went well 🥰

I finally did for next Friday then I've got a private scan too which im excited about. felt like I needed it before telling my ds. We go away on the 16th for a week so wanted to tell him then. Have you announced now?

I had such a good day yesterday sickness wise im hoping today is the same and it's starring to lift xxx

Do you have anything planned on how your tell your wee one?

I’ve still kept it pretty quiet 🙈 I’ve told immediate family and a group of friends as I was away with them so it was kind of obvious. I’ve also told my manager at work. Still keeping it quite quiet and we haven’t told the kids yet, I’m just so nervous to and then something happens which I need to then explain. I’ll not get away with it for much longer though as I’m sure I’m going to have a bump in the next week or so!

Yeh i totally get the worry of telling the kids, that's come to my mind too. But im really trying to not let those intrusive thoughts ruin this pregnancy for me. I havnt planned on how to tell him yet. He actually asked me out the blue and so random "how do babies get in mummy's bellys" I was like 😱🤣 maybe he's onto somtging.

I feel like im going to show alot sooner too and not being able to get away with it my jeans are getting snug already! And it's hard because the weather is too warm to be wearing hoodies hahs x x

Oh really, that’s so funny. I do really think they sense something is going on, my 4yo has asked me outright if I have a baby in my tummy. I just kind of changed the subject!

You are so right, at some point I know I need to start being a bit more positive but I’m just not there yet.

The temp here has dipped again so I’m back in jumpers I can hide in 😆

Morning, glad your all doing well so far 😍 also amazing to be hitting 12 week milestones, I know how nervous you'll all be though..don't think I started to relax until after the 20 week scan! X

We're getting teeth here 😲 Ovies bottom two have started to show, he's also sitting quite confidently can't believe it! He's still so little...25th percentile for weight and 23rd for height 😂 dont know how hes so small as we're not. Also had his CMPA confirmed by peads and there going to test for egg allergy as he had a slight reaction. Sorted lots of his newborn bits out the other day and felt really sad and announced to my OH that I want another baby 😂🙈 he's still not at that point yet.

I think that’s when I’ll start to relax @Westy22, it just seems so far away right now!

Oh teeth coming in already, I always think that changes their wee faces when teeth start to pop through. That’s a shame about his CMPA, was he quite unsettled with it?

Isn’t it mad to imagine that they even fitted into those newborn clothes at one stage, they look so tiny!

@Westy22 ah that's cute, he'll probably over take everyone when he starts school 🙈

I had my twelve week scan today, she said all looked fine, baby wouldn't stay still or in right position to do the screening tests though so they're going to do quad bloods in a few weeks, not as accurate as combined screening but she said everything looked normal :)

Ahhhh @Paws4thought congratulations ❤️ its such a good milestone. How do you feel?

@xxcxdonxx CMPA triggered really bad eczema, his skin was so dry, flakey and weeped it was awful, had a massive battle with the GP as she was adamant it wasnt milk allergy, so ended up buying the formula myself to prove he needed it (£40 for 400g tin 🙈) his skin instantly improved! Saw another GP who instantly set up a prescription for him. Honestly the worst few weeks and we ended up in A&E twice 😢

@westy22 wow thats so bad that first gp didnt even try the formula! Glad you got a better response from second! It was a relieve to see heart beat and super active baby, i didnt even know they moved that much this early, little anxious that they couldn't do screening though x

Im 11 weeks tomorrow can not believe how quick it's gone already. Ive got my booking in appointment tomorrow and a scan aswell so we can tell james before we go on our little holiday then should have my 12 week scan when we get back. Im so so nervous about tomorrow all the little douts have creeped in. Ive been so positive aswell. In a plus im bk to work today and my sickness has calmed down loads so I feel more alive hahaha @xxcxdonxx hope all is well xxx
