I have finally got a infertility appointment for the 17th Dec I don't no why I'm going. Other half is hell bent on no more babies I'm just on the fence. A part of me does and a part of me doesn't after our little incident last month I found myself secretly wanting to get a bfp. Anyway I'm still going I want the tests doing still to see if there is a underlining issue with my pains ect I'm getting xx

No wonder your mind is all over the place @Paws4thought you’ve had a tough few months. Can’t imagine it’s easy to get yourself in the zone for TTC at the moment.

Hope feeding is continuing to go well @Westy22 , the first few weeks are a wild ride.

Glad to hear you are all getting on well @SnookyPook , can’t believe it’s been a year since your bfp, doesn’t feel that way!

@Supertrooper101 , 11 weeks already. That’s a nice stage when they start to get a little more robust and you feel you know them better.

@Jadeypie it’s such a tough one to get over isn’t it. I’m in a similar position where I have some kind of scan Dec 31st, actually not really sure what it’s for but I’m a bit like is there any point in going? I get private medical through my work and as of next year they are going to be offering initial tests for recurrent miscarriage. It’s amazing but I don’t know if it’s too late for me know. I suppose go for your appointments and see what comes of
those, that might help settle your mind.

Im officially back in the tww. I don’t hold out much hope to be honest. I had quite a bit of bleeding around ovulation and then passed a clot/tissue which it then seemed to stop after that. I don’t know what’s going on and feel like my body is giving up and preparing for menopause or something. It’s all such a rollercoaster!

Hi ladies, sorry I've been so bad at replying. It's so strange how technically they sleep for such a massive portion of the day and yet I can never seem to get anything done 🙈😂

@SnookyPook sorry to hear that Samuel wasn't well. Great about his weight gain though! Isn't it crazy to think where we all were this time last year. I remember your BFP so well. I think I had just had my hysterocopy. It's hard to believe where we are now 🥹 xx

@Westy22 how are you doing? Hope the hormones have settled a bit? The cluster feeding is no joke. Just when I think we're over it she takes another growth spurt and goes again the next week! It's great that Ovie doesn't mind a bottle too, we did one formula a night for the first month just so I could sleep. I'm expressing one a day now too because my OH loves feeding her and also it will be nice to have a drink or 2 over Christmas 😂 I hope you're feeling ok physically now too xx

@Paws4thought I hope you're doing ok. I can't even imagine how tough it is, especially around this time of year 😢 Xx

@Supertrooper101 its such a roller coaster isn't it 🥴 The reflux is still pretty bad here. My doc prescribed Losec but then a paediatrician said same shouldnt as it would cause her more pain with her trapped wind so we decided to just ride it out. The constant vomiting is upsetting for us but actually she's not in any real discomfort (apart from last night and this morning as she got her first vaccination 🫣) We're in 2.5 tog gro bags here, they're so handy but with her puking in her sleep we're going through a lot! Hope everything else is going ok. You all set for Christmas with the older ones? X

@Jadeypie I'd imagine your OH is dead against it as they want to try and protect us from the heartbreak. I think they feel so helpless when there's a loss so it's a preservation thing 😢. For what it's worth I think you're right to go on the 17th and see what they say, it might explain the pain etc too...Hopefully Christmas is a nice distraction no doubt the magic is building with your little lad now! 🎅 🎄 xx

@xxcxdonxx I think we all convinced ourself it was pre menopause at one stage or another. It's so hard to know what random bleeds etc are, when you're paying such close attention to your body it's nearly impossible to know what's going on 🥴 I don't think it's too late for you at all. You seem to be able to get pregnant so it's just finding something to tweak to help it stick 🤞 , whether that's progesterone or aspirin or something new so I definitely think go for the tests but hopefully you won't need them by then! As for me I'm just plodding along really. I can't believe how fast time is going! Sophie is 9 weeks today. Apart from the reflux things have gotten a little easier and we're getting more sleep etc. (she's a little chunk and 0-3 clothes are getting too tight so moving to 3-6 months this week 🙈😂) We're also getting lots of smiles etc and loving the build up to Christmas ☺️, I find myself crying happy tears a lot when I look at her because I never thought it would happen🥹. For those still waiting please don't give up hope. We were literally just about to start ivf the next cycle in February so miracles do happen 🥹 xx

@Sez281 what a lovely message! Such thoughtful, beautiful messages to everyone 💗 Glad Sophie is doing well and that the first jabs are done! Really glad you are enjoying your little miracle lady 🥰 Haha so funny how different they all are - Sammy is only fitting in a few little 3-6month bits - most still swamp him!

@Sez281 sounds like your coping really well with the reflux. Its hard hearing them at nite, were just told it may take up to a year to get better! Or we can try medicine. Shes a really noisy sleeper so not sure what it is half the time lol oldest one has been excited for xmas since september haha the boys quite mellow so dosent tend to do 'excited' lol older they get the less presents they get cos its all too expensive what they want lol

Sorry I've took ages to reply, the last few weeks are a blur lol Ovie is 5 weeks today, I can't remember life before 🫠😂 were battling through some rough nights and potential silent reflux but he's so lovely and smiling lots now. OH is back at work Monday and tbh I'm looking forward to my own bit of routine starting as he's not coped being off work for this long at all. Feel like I've recovered well from c section although I slipped on the stairs the other day and seriously banged my coccyx bone and I swear it's worse than c section recovery 😂 think I got my period already which is annoying considering I'm expressing thought it would delay it 😂

@Westy22 lovely to hear from you! Wow, 5 weeks already 🥰 Glad all is going well! Ouch though - I once slipped on stairs years ago and landed on my coccyx and it still plays up if I lie in certain positions! Definitely very painful - hope you're ok!! Glad c-section recovery is all going well!! Ooh, I had a bleed at 6 weeks which I thought was my period returning as other bleeding had stopped a week or two earlier .. however I've never had any more since. I think you can get a last plug of stuff coming out around then so fingers crossed you may yet get a few more period-free months!

I'm still not fully ready for Christmas but thankfully we're not hosting this year so that's a few things less to worry about! We're all doing well! Saw my eldest in his first nativity play - he was a shepherd and it was super cute 🥰 Samuel is doing well! Getting more and more personality by the day now. Love this stage 🥰 HV was here to weigh him a week ago - still under 12lbs! Hehe... But doing well. Well be starting to think of weaning soon - can't believe it!!

Nothing really to report on my side, the run up to Christmas was exhausting I’m so glad to just be enjoying some down time now!

@xxcxdonxx I've got my appt 10th Jan and I'm out for this month so hopefully that will be useful 🤞 still waiting on dna results from last mva, they've got them but the consultant is taking ages to right up letter and they won't tell me anything before that.
Have you settled into your new home?

@xxcxdonxx I've had more bloods done and checking my egg reserve also getting the hycosy scan because I had to cancle that when I lost the last pregnancy so things are rolling again. She was a lovely consultant and listened to my concerns ect. I hope your appointment goes well! Xx

Not long till yours now @Paws4thought snd sorry to hear that you still haven’t had any results back, hopefully that’s not too long now.
We are getting settled in thanks, definitely feels like home but just need to get on the decorating now.

I had my appointment on 31st. It was fine but didn’t really tell me anything new. I’d asked to check my section scar for any scar defects but there didn’t seem to be any issues with that either. Said she could see some ‘free fluid’ but wasn’t concerned and didn’t think it was a blockage in a tube or anything but I’ve to go back in March for a follow up anyway.

I’m very fortunate to get health insurance through my work and as of this year they now offer initial testing into miscarriage so I’m going to give them a call and see if there is anything worth being tested for.

@xxcxdonxx see i was told free fluid was a bad thing and could be from infection, theres a proper word for it i just cant remember what 🤦‍♀️
@Jadeypie you should have a lot of answers soon then, am plsd you guys including @Paws4thought are still staying strong and trying 🙂

Our xmas was pretty shite. My mum died out the blue over the xmas week so were still in abit of shock over that. Hoping all the kids are resilliant though and are ok in time

@xxcxdonxx that's great that you're covered by insurance. It's good to hear that there's nothing obviously wrong but very frustrating too I know. Maybe they'll have more answers in March

@Jadeypie glad you're rescheduled for the HyCosy, I had that along with Hysterocopy in the November and fell pregnant 2 cycles later. Not sure if connected or not but definitely worth it for a clear out of nothing else! 🙏

Sorry for the radio silence, it's been a crazy few weeks 🫠 Life is certainly different now, he's a milk monster and has a very funny little personality coming through. Sleep is getting better and he's down to one night feed about 3/4 am then wakes about 8 so can't complain. We had a quiet Christmas, my mum started dialysis the Friday before Xmas and is preparing to go on the transplant list, I'm considering doing it for her if I matched, but not sure if I'd need to wait having had a csection.

@Supertrooper101 I'm so sorry for your loss ❤️ that must of been awful x

All good here thanks. Samuel will be 6 months in a couple of weeks which seems like complete madness!! Gearing up for weaning although not completely sure I'll start bang on 6 months - will be led by him. He has good head control but is still a bit floppy with sitting for long. He's quite different to his brother in that Sebby was extremely physical - he was already crawling and trying to pull up at this stage whereas Sammy is much more placid and still working on rolling. He has the most adorable giggle though and is a very smiley boy who charms everyone 🥰 Still only 12lbs4oz at the last weigh in a couple of days ago but keeping on his curve so they're happy. We're waiting to hear about the cardiology appointment and almost certainly will get signed off so that will be good. 😊

I’m so sorry @Supertrooper101 that must have been an awful shock. I hope you are all doing ok.

@xxcxdonxx the consultant was nice, all my bloods came back completely normal so she's advised progesterone from positive test (finally someone giving it) and 3d scan of uterus when they're next at the clinic, she's hoping the progesterone will stop the spotting from happening and solve the problem but said might not be next one so just a waiting game really. I'm 8dpo amd it's dragging haha.
How are you getting on?

@Westy22 oh wow that's a big decision to make for your mum, hope she's coping with the dialysis. Ah he sounds like he's sleeping really well!

@SnookyPook can't believe he's over 6 months, that's gone so quickly. Fingers crossed you get signed off.

Not seen the HV in ages, they cancel or i do lol last time she was weighed she was just over a stone tho! Still very noisy at nite, but aparently my boy was but i must have forgot lol she has a flat side to her head from always sleeping on that side 🤦‍♀️ hoping it pops out at some point lol loves spitting and blowing bubbles haha and hates tummy time lol seem to be shrinking all her clothes in the dryer too 🤦‍♀️ roll on warmer weather lol

We're in the throes of 4 month sleep regression here, she had been doing 8-8 with only one wake up but it's every 2 hours now 🥴 She's flying it though and won't last too much longer in 3-6 clothes at this stage 🙈😂
