Early Pregnancy Symptoms

Hi everyone 😃.

I've been trting to conceive with my husband over the last couple of weeks.

I'm not due my period for another week or so and I took a pregnancy test 5 days ago which was negative. Appreciate it's too early to say if I'm pregnant (and that the test probably wouldn't have picked it up), and also aware that symptoms don't usually start until later.

I dunno if I'm imagining things, but I feel like the lower part of my torso is really heavy, solid and bloated. It feels like I'm getting little squirmy movements too.

Randomly I sense strong smells and I've had quite heavy/mucusy discharge. Today I've felt really sick and fatigued (although I did go to the gym and could be dehydrated). I've felt really warm at night and struggled to fall asleep at times.

I've actually had struggles with my mental health this year (anxiety, depression and dissociation), but I'm feeling a little more stable now (don't know if this has something to do with hormones?).

In any case, is it far too early to be experiencing any of these? It's possible I might be exaggerating these things in my mind as I do have health anxiety.

Any opinions would be welcome!

How many dpo are you? I’m currently 29 weeks pregnant but when TTC I definitely symptom spotted like crazy the first few months. Noticing things that I could have always had pre period but you’re looking out so closely for signs everything becomes a sign. The month I actually conceived I had zero symptoms, then no symptoms till 6 weeks which were sore boobs and nausea.

In terms of mental health my own experience is the increased influx of hormones actually made it worse at first with anxiety. Your symptoms may well be a sign but I think probably too early for all of those thing to be related. Good luck 🤞🏻
