Spotting after positive test

im so confused I tested positive yesterday, i did 5 tests to make sure, and now I have bright red spotting today, my period is due in two days and I usually get spotting before it. What could this be? Do I need to just wait until my period shows? X

I got a vfl 3 days before my period was due and then the night before it was due to arrive, I started spotting. It was mainly brown but some pink / red. I was convinced I was out but the spotting stayed light and my test lines got darker each day. I'm now 22 weeks pregnant. It's possible you've had a chemical pregnancy and your period is now here, but I have everything crossed that things progress well for you. Spotting can be a normal part of early pregnancy and doesn't always mean it's over. Good luck ❤️
