Flooded Test ...

Can someone, please, explain to me exactly what is a flooded test?
I've read & listened to so many different answers ...

I'm asking because I took a test the other morning; my pee went absolutely all over it! Like, everywhere. The result was positive, 2 lines instantly, still the same when it dried (two lines, both with color)
I've taken another since and it's a stark white negative ... so, I had a false positive because I'd flooded the test?

As far as I know, a flooded test means that the test has been flooded with urine which can cause the dye inside to run and give inaccurate results. I always catch my pee in a little cup / container so that I can dip the test in and less risk of pee going all over the test. I'd recommend doing that if you can xx

@CosmicLove
Thank you for posting

So, it's possible for urine to wet the test line and release the dye before it even reaches the control line? Something I never knew ...
Dip test in future then

Yes I believe so. I think dipping is best to avoid ambiguous results. Good luck xx
