Have I missed my positive OPK? Photo

Hello! So I have a pretty long (and somewhat irregular) cycle, of 35-37 days (I have PCOS, but can reliably use OPKs as they have never given me a false positive)

I usually ovulate around CD21, so start testing a few days before that. This cycle I started testing at CD15, not too sure why; and this is the reading it gave me (ratio of 0.8 test to control line, on the Premom app) was this a positive that I just missed? I didn’t consider it to be a positive because I assumed the ratio had to be 1:1 (test colour just as dark as control)

I think your actual peak was a few hours before that first test (or the previous day or night)

or, you might get another surge later. I read a few times that 2 LH surges within the same cycle are more common than we think

@pineapple03 aah I see, however that positive (is it positive? That’s the question haha) was 9 days ago now, with only negatives since, could I have a surge 2 weeks later? But then surely that’s when my period should arrive

Unfortunately as you didnt do any tests the night or day before that first test, we have no way to know if you indeed had a surge/peak or not... It looks like it, but we can’t know for sure unfortunately

The only thing to do right now is to keep testing and see what happens
