New here! Please explain abbreviations!!

Hello, I am new here! I have been TTC for 2 years now and have come on here for hints, tips and I guess a bit of support. I have been reading posts but struggling with the abbreviations! Obviously I have already learnt TTC! Can somebody shed some light! I’m clearly out of touch! Or am I OOT?! 😂 Thanks!

2ww - 2 weeks wait (between ovulation and period being due)
AF - "aunt Flo" aka period
Dpo - days past ovulation

Are there any particular ones, I can try and help? I just learned them too!

I would also add:

CM: cervical mucus
EWCM: egg white cervical mucus
OPK: ovulation predictor kit (aka ovulation tests/strips)
DH: dear husband
DD: dear daughter
DS: dear son

(people on forums tend to say DH, DD and DS instead of just saying “my husband or “my son etc… lol 😆)

DDog = Damn Dog
DCat = Dear Cat
DFish = Dorade
DDinosaur = Dead Dinosaur (you don't hear this so much these days)

Btw OP, no need to use D this and D that all the time. Extremely tedious!

I try not to use any of the twee abreviations. Always period, never AF. Brrr. Will never use DD or DS.
