Lost hope

Just looking for a hand hold and some reassurance.

I recently had my second embryo transfer (first round ended with a chemical pregnancy) I fell pregnant naturally once and miscarried.

I currently have the worst mental attitude towards it- I’ve lost all hope, faith and belief it will work. I’m started to plan my third round of IVF for example.

Has this ever happened and it led to a successful healthy pregnancy? I am sick of being told to think positively by people who found pregnancy a doodle.

I think it’s normal, a sort of self preservation. You’re accepting/presuming it won’t work, so you’re planning the next round. Best of luck to you, keep the faith.

I’m in a different situation but feel the same. I’ve had 2 miscarriages & can’t imagine ever having a successful pregnancy. I think it’s part what PP says with it being self preservation, but it’s also when you have never had a successful outcome it feels impossible to imagine how it could work out.
I try hold onto a glimmer of hope I still have - really hope it’s a successful round for you
