this is my first chart temping.

have taken out temps due to bug i had.

last cycle was 55 days

have had egg white cevical mucus since thursday is drying up now
and an increased sex drive

fertility friend says :-

egg white cervical mucus may suggest ovulation between cycle days 30-33
cd33 my last temp surge need 3 more to confirm ovulation

realise that people may not be able to give me an answer just thought that i would ask anyway
thanksxx

I've just looked at you chart again tink Your temps aren't remaining high. You said your last cycle was 55 days. You might not Ov till around CD40 then. How long is your average cycle?

Hmmm, your chart is akin to the Rocky Mountains. This chart could be anovulatory in nature.

I would ask what your periods are like anyway, if they are irregular in nature then temp charting is not worth doing.

How long have you been ttc for, if it is coming up to a year a blood test can be done to see what your hormone levels are like. This would give you a far more accurate picture.

A cycle of 55 days is more likely than not to be one in which ovulation did not occur.

no there is no way to determine whether O actually occurred without being scanned, however temping is a good way to check in a regular cycle with a clear temp shift when compared to the previous 5 temps.
Your chart looks anovulatory to me atm.
The ewcm can occur at other times in your cycle I know i sometimes get in post-O, it's not an indicator of imminent O as such but merely a means of sperm being more able to swim through the cervix. Some women don't see any ewcm, but still acheive pg.
If your body is trying to O you may well be getting all the signs but not actually have released an egg yet for a number of reasons. Sometimes temping makes things more stressful.
I know it's not what you want to hear but worrying about O will probably delay it even further.
