First month TTC off the pill

My withdrawl bleed from the contraceptive pill started (2nd Oct) and ended 7th Oct

Do I count the 2nd October as the first day of my cycle? Or, because it wasn't a real period, would the day it ended be the first day of my cycle?

All so confusing! I'm taking ovulation tests (clear blue digital monitor) and currently still getting this 😔

I really hope I ovulate this month. Both times I fell pregnant was the first month of coming off the pill (one MC, one 4 year old son)

I’m in the same position. I had my withdrawal bleed at the end of September so IF I’ve managed to get pregnant this month then I would just count it from the start of the withdrawal bleed. I don’t think it matters too much as you’ll get a proper date at the 12 week scan or earlier if you go for a private scan. It’s just hard to know when you’ve actually ovulated!
