Ovulation Tests

Hi everyone I have searched the boards but there's so much I can't find a proper thread on it.

I had quite a traumatic loss in September. We conceived straight away month 1 of trying. I used the Easy at Home ovulation tests and we just had sex every day and thankfully we got pregnant. I knew before my period I was pregnant. You know when you just know. Around week 5 I was really sick. Not vomiting but the other end. Couldn't eat without running the toilet. After a week of that (and 5lb weight loss) my GP recommended popcorn 🙄 anyway I started having chest/back pain and in my left side. A long story short after 4 weeks back and forth to the EPAU, (and lots of conflicting info/false hope from doctors) I naturally miscarried around 8 and a half weeks.

It's been a couple of months now and I've had a full period. We are looking to try again after my next period but I'm still tracking ovulation this month using the Easy at Home tests just to get an idea of when in the month I ovulate. I just wanted to know what people's experiences of these were and whether there's anything better to use (that doesn't cost over £100 like the Clear Blue tracker one). Is there a difference between pink and blue dye tests? Does expensive mean better accuracy?
I've been tracking my temperature every morning but to be honest there hasn't been much difference.

I'm on day 15 of my "new" post miscarriage cycle and so far no positive ovulation test on the Easy at Home ones. Any advice would be welcome and sorry this is such a long one. I'm desperate to conceive again 🌈

I’m so sorry for your loss 🤍 I’ve used easy at home and One Step ovulation tests and find easy at home most accurate. I log them with the premom app too.

I used easy at home ovulation tests both times and it worked well for me. I did also do bbt with a cheap thermometer so I had no doubts.

Sorry for your loss and good luck with ttc again.

Thank you both!
Hopefully they are reliable then and I'm just ovulating late this month. I'll stick with them and see.
Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Hey! So sorry for your loss.

I miscarried in September and I didn't then ovulate until CD29 (I counted my first day of bleeding as CD1). So it was exactly 4 weeks from the miscarriage to when I ovulated again.
I didn't think I'd ovulate again until after my period returned as it seemed to take forever.
I was using easy at home OPKs aswell xx
