Can you ovulate early?

I know it's common to O late due to all sorts of factors, but I'm wondering if one can O earlier than usual?

Don't see why not.

well saying 'ovulate early' implies that there is an actual time to ovulate .. which there isn't

the thing is you can ovulate at any time during your cycle and the whole 'one ovulates 14 days before the start of your period' is totally nonsensical mathematical average

if you're an average .. bully for you, but it doesn't make any sense for many many women

so the short answer is yes

you could be ovulating day 7 or day 24 of your cycle (arbitary figures)

Yes - DS was conceived on day 5 of my cycle - when we thought we were 'safe'!

DS was conceived around day 7 or 8 of my cycle. I'm pretty sure as that was the only time we had sex that month!

I have an "actual time" - I tend to ovulate on day 15/16 every month, and I have ovulated as late as 20 and on 14 - which I guess is early... so I don't see why you couldn't ovulate early for you just like you could ovulate late for you

that's exactly what I mean Ready. I usually ovulate between CD18 - 20. But I was just wondering if it ever might creep up on me on, like, CD14 or something - like completely out of the blue? I guess that's what's CM is for, but I didn't have much this past cycle. Just curious...

Prepg - I know you've recently miscarried so it is very possible that your cycle is a bit out still at the moment.

I think it is entirely possible, which is why sex is so important throughout your entire cycle
