Pre period spotting

Hello I get light, brown spotting from dpo 8-10 every cycle and my period starts on day 10 or 11. I’ve been TTC nearly 24m but nothing so could this be problem? Everything else is apparently fine from tests. Please help if you can. Thanks a bunch xx

I've not personally been a luteal phase spotter myself but from reading MN threads, I believe spotting in your luteal phase can be a sign of low progesterone. Have you had that checked? It might be worthwhile seeing if your GP would check it or if you're under the care of any fertility place, they might be able to prescribe progesterone to take. Good luck xx

I have had this for as long as I can remember. I’m 31, ttc for last 6 months and seem to vary between having 5-7 days of pre period spotting. I have had my progesterone tested a number of times and it’s not low. I also have been told I have cervical ectropion in the past so could be that. It’s super frustrating though!
