Clear Blue Fertility Monitor

Hey, I have a question about the clear blue fertility monitor. I have just ordered one along with the sticks & it's arriving tomorrow. I will be CD7 tomorrow and as you have to use first urine I won't be able to use it until CD8 which is 2 days after the window. Do I need to wait a whole month to use it or can I over ride it? Bought it before I realised you need to start early as I usually start OPKs on CD9

You can only set up a new cycle on the CB monitor between day 1 - 4 of your cycle unfortunately, so you will have to start using it on your next cycle.

I know, it's pretty annoying!
I've been using it for the last 3 cycles and no bfp yet😔 trying not to get too disheartened even though in all the reviews everyone seemed to get pregnant after the 1st month using it! 😅
I'm currently 1dpo, so fingers crossed for this month 🤞🏽

@loveyababesx I used the monitor for a few cycles, if you really want to use it just change your period dates! It will still detect the hormone rises regardless if that’s what you’re after

@thejadestoneandthedragon aww sorry it's not worked yet! I've been sucked in by the reviews too and I'm just expecting it to work 😂 it's quite expensive isn't it so hoping it at least tells me when my fertile days are as I think the app I'm using is wrong.

Yes you will have to wait for the next cycle unfortunately. It’s an annoying feature. If it makes you feel better I got pregnant the first cycle I used this so it worked well for me.

@lloveyababesx yes it is expensive but hopefully worth it!
This is my 3rd cycle tracking but I've just reached the 1 year mark of 'trying' if that makes sense. Pretty scary.
Me and partner had all checks etc and everything OK, just a matter of timing I hope. I'm 35 in November and this will be my first so I'm starting to feel the pressure that's for sure! What about you? How long have you been trying?

@thejadestoneandthedragon I have one already, but she was conceived accidentally so I have nothing to go off...I'm on cycle 6 so I'm going to start tracking I just have a very addictive personality so I know I'm going to get obsessed! Currently 1DPO I think, so entering the dreaded TWW.

It's good that your tests have come back clear! Do you do your temps too? Tempted to try that next x

No I don't do temps because I feel like it's another thing to get stressed over, and I'd feel too disheartened seeing that dip after ovulation. I'd rather live in hope until AF due! Which is also why I don't test early. I'm 13dpo and think I just got a vvvf evap on wondfo so I'm obviously discarding it as anything, I'm sure it would be a clear bfp at this stage😔 so another month the CB monitor hasn't worked. When my period starts I'm booking in for a hycosy, so that's the next step on my journey. Good luck on your ttc journey! 💕

Hi id just like to post regarding the clear blue fertility monitor as it has helped me. Also as i have been stalking these posts for months now trying to find up to date feedback on the Clear blue monitor. I just got my BFP after 3 cycles using this. I’ve just turned 39 and my partner is 51 so I am clearly shocked and delighted this happened so soon. I messed up the first two months as didn’t get chance (work commitments away) on peak days first and second month, although we did get to do some high days. November (3rd cycle on monitor) was when we conceived. The monitor taught me that I ovulated later than CD14, was more like CD 16 and 17. We DTD on the High day two days before Peak days, and then on both peak days .. so one of those was successful! Good luck ladies, hope this post helps someone.

Hi I've just started using clearblue fertility monitor I started testing on cd6 and ive had highs ever-since I'm on cd15 today my testing window is 5am until 11am does anyone think I may have missed my peak as I had a positive urine ovulation test on Tuesday and had pink discharge of anyone can shed some light please I would be so grateful xx

@Staceyg0208 I didn't experience this myself but I would say just keep testing as the monitor requests, it may just be a late ovulation cycle for you, Or for whatever reason it just hasn't picked up your peak, which I've heard can happen on the first month using it. If you have the manual, it will tell you what to do if you experience 'x' amount of high days. If you usually get signs of ovulation like EWCM, ovulation pain etc, then I would always go by that, regardless of what the monitor tells you.

Thankyou so much for your reply I had light pink discharge 2 days ago and I had this test result then I've done another ovulation test today and it's negative x

Would you be able to tell me if i had a peak x

Hello, I am actually 14 weeks pregnant now, but used the monitor for 2 months & never got a peak! I just went off my cm in the end & that seemed to work.
