Evening! We’ve been TTC baby number 2 for a year and no luck, I know on average it takes about a year to conceive but we fell pregnant straight away with baby number 1 so bit of a downer still no sign after a year. Anyways since having my daughter 3 and half years ago my body has change I have irregular periods, painful sex, hair is awful, bad bloating constant for 2 weeks before period. I currently waiting to see a gynocologist I saw one in March and she said if I still have no look after a year she’ll start doing more test to look into it. (I’ve had a blood test and ultrasound that came back normal) I’ve got my appointment in November.
My question is what did you do to help you conceive was they anything you took to help? I know that everyone’s situation is different but want to give anything a go.
thank you!

Hey

Sadly no advice but in a similar position - DC1 was concieved quickly and currently on cycle 14 TTC number 2! Have had hubby's SA, range of blood tests (hormones, thyroid, AMH), internal scans and a hycosy. All normal.

The only thing keeping me going is hearing of others stories where it took up to 2 years and sometimes more to conceive (either baby 1, 2 etc) without any known issues.

@Fairy0708 sorry to hear that it’s awful and think when you’ve already got one you constantly get asked when’s baby number 2 she’s ready for a sibling now.

I just don’t bother tracking or anything because I just don’t feel hopeful.
Hope this ok to ask did you have natural birth or c section? X

I've tracked on and off over the months but actually threw them all away last month! I have gotten to know my body better than ever with all the symptom spotting etc so I can actually tell when I'm ovulating anyway.

I had an emergency c section - no idea if that has impacted anything but nothing was mentioned on my scans! I can only assume it's 1)age and 2) the universe has a reason it hasn't happened yet (hoping/praying this is the reason 😂)

@Fairy0708 I had the same emergency c section, I’m starting to think it was something to do with that so I’m hoping when I go to the gyno she’ll do some test to see. I’m only 26 and normal weight actually more healthier than before I go pregnant with my daughter 🤷🏼‍♀️

Have you both cut out alcohol and cut down on caffeine? These two really made a huge difference to us TTC baby 2 and we also both took CoQ10.
