Luteal phase defect? Implantation bleeding?

I have spotting 7-8 days after ovulation. Quite heavy brown. Too early to be my period but disheartening that it might be a sign of a bigger problem meaning I can’t conceive eg low progesterone. Has anyone had similar and still got pregnant?

When I was trying to get pregnant the first time around, I had come off the pill a few months before startto try and my cycle was extremely short. So an egg never had enough time to implant before my next bleed, and after doing some research, I was quite sure that my luteal phase was too short. I learned that monkspepper is a natural supplement to lengthen the luteal phase, so I took that (was available in our local chemist at the time). About two or three months later I became pregnant. Have a look into monkspepper. The only drawback was, as far as I remember, you should not try and conceive whilst you take it.

I have always have/had spotting mid luteal phase, including the cycle(s) I got pregnant on.

I did struggle to conceive and did various things to help that along, but I've no idea if the spotting was/is an indication of anything that may have been a problem.

Thank you that gives me hope! What sort of things did you do to help?

On the successful cycles, I had reflexology and took soy isoflavones on specific cycles days (i don't remember which). I suspect it was the soy because ovulation was much stronger based on tracking, OPKs etc.
