Implantation bleeding or something not right?

Hi everyone.
I had a MMC in May. Had medical management, bled for 4 weeks and TTC since. On cycle 4 now. I have 28 day cycles and have done for years. I should be on cycle day 24 today, around 8 days post ovulation. I use natural cycles and have had a clear temp increase which is still high this morning. Never have any luck with detecting LH.
Today I have started lightly spotting and cramping. However it has slightly increased and seems more like a light period. Usually my periods are pretty heavy day one. This would mean I've had a 24 day cycle which has never happened in my life.
I'm so worried something has gone wrong with my body since the miscarriage. I got pregnant first time last time.
I'm almost 32 and was just wondering if anyone has a similar experience with messed up cycles post miscarriage or implantation bleeding??
Surely after 4 months my cycle should be back to normal.
Thank you

It could be implantation bleeding, although usually (but not always) it is just a smear of pink when you wipe. It's also very possible that the stress and heartache of trying to conceive has thrown this cycle out. I don't think you need to panic, but if you are having issues with detecting LH despite testing twice a day I'd say it's worth contacting the GP to get the ball rolling to check hormone levels x

I noticed implantation in 2 pregnancies. Both times, it was the tiniest speck on toilet paper- about 3mm across. Nothing on underwear, and nothing more than the spec of pink!
I too have very regular periods, but sometimes, you will have one slightly earlier or later. Stress, illness or no reason at all can be to blame.
Best of luck, but at this stage, its hard to say what it is.

Thanks for your replies. I've just ordered the hertility blood test just to see if it gives any insight or to put my mind at ease. My GP isn't great and I think on paper I will get dismissed anyway.

@Empop92 I’m so sorry for your loss. I also had a MMC and D&C with twins in late April and am on cycle 4 of TTC since. My cycles have been fairly regular since apart from the first (had a weird 2 day light period) but I’ve been spotting for 2-3 days before starting my period every month which I never did before the MMC. I spoke to my GP and he arranged blood tests which I had yesterday, and apparently referred me for a scan but not had that booked in yet. The advice used to be to wait 3 cycles after a miscarriage to even start trying, so I keep telling myself my body went through a lot and might take some time to settle. If it helps, the cycle before I conceived earlier this year was super short (like 24 days) and I think AF was brought on by stress / illness (I had serious tonsillitis and needed to be hospitalised) but then a month later I got pregnant, so I don’t think the odd short or long cycle impacts your chances, but fingers crossed for you it’s implantation not AF! Xx

I'm so sorry you are also going through this. Mine were twins too!
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately not implantation bleeding definitely a period!
I think its hard keeping positive but hearing other people with similar experiences makes you feel less alone. Good luck with TTC I hope next month is our month.
I might book with my GP, good to know that is an option
