Saving heartache from testing early

Since ttc since June this year I've come to the conclusion (for me anyway) that in future I will save myself untold amounts of stress, panic and heartache by not testing until the time I miss a period. I'm now 31 years old and have never experienced the frustration of not becoming pregnant when deciding to have a baby. I've been pregnant 6 times to which each pregnancy I conceived the month of deciding to try. I was extremely lucky and I just never knew. The reason I say save heartache from testing early is because since this time round I've ordered multiple brands of them bulk dip tests from online and every month since June I have experienced them "faint positives", some which have been very obvious and very pink. Now since ttc this year I've come across many posts about chemical pregnancies and it does leave me to wonder how many of these were actually in fact just that, I'm sure in some cases this has been the case especially when suspected pregnancy has been confirmed through multiple brands of tests but what about the ladies that use the same batch of tests and truly believe they are/ were pregnant when it was just in fact nothing more than a dodgy batch of tests. My most recent encounter (this month and within the last hour!) one step pregnancy tests- for 4 days I've been getting these- some faint, some pink and some shadow lines and others completely negative on these tests and like a lot of ladies I've been testing at different times of the day throughout the day! So have been convincing myself "it's lighter this time because my urine wasn't as concentrated" Hmm only now I've finally come to realise or come to my senses that it's not the case at all and it's just another brand of them tests which are not fit for purpose, I will add that of course if you get a test line as pink as the control line then you should be certain you are most likely pregnant but anything less and I would disregard it. Not even 30 mins ago I dipped one test and straight away a faint second pink line appeared, this is after testing negative this morning, anyway I just decided to dip another 2 tests in the same urine sample and would you believe it the other 2 are completely negative. This is the second brand of tests I've been using this month, the other being wondfo which are even worse in my opinion. These ones have been producing an even more obvious pink line straight away before the test has finished loading in some cases. Again it's been hit and miss of some tests being lighter than others and I kept convincing myself it's because my sample was less concentrated but now 4 days of this and my period being due in 5 days I've come to realise I'm not pregnant and never was at any point this month. I have purchased clear blue and first response this month yet again after having these pink lines appear and both have been completely negative. I have also used cheap store brands too and also have all been negative. I guess I just wanted to air my frustrations a little and at the same time put my experience out there so anyone experiencing this can maybe allow themselves to stop and think and not get so carried away. Believe me I am suffering so much and all I have been doing is thinking theres something wrong with me and I'm never going to be pregnant again. It hurts so bad and cuts so deep I haven't slept properly for 5 days and I've lost my appetite. I truly feel for anyone going through this struggle/journey of ttc but for me anyway I feel I needed to snap out of this testing early business as since June it's take over my life.
