Lupus anticoagulant positive

Morning, I was wondering if anyone could give any hope or any experience they’ve had.

I have one child conceived very easily no complications, and I’ve had two miscarriages in the last 12 months, one a blighted ovum and the other ectopic. I paid to get some bloods done at a fertility clinic and I’ve been told I was positive for lupus anticoagulant. I was so stunned when I was told I didn’t really know what to ask but if I do pregnant again there’s a whole host of medical interventions I will need apparently.

The types of miscarriages I have had do not sound related to this from what I’ve read (seems it more often causes quite late miscarriages where everything initially seems okay). I’ve also read false positives can show if you’ve been ill prior to having the test done (I was ill with a bad cold - but the clinic didn’t seem to imply to could skew the test), and also the tests should be done twice to confirm treatment is definitely needed. Does any of this ring true? It’s just what I’ve concluded from some panicked google searching.

I was extremely optimistic about trying again and now I feel this is potentially a massive hurdle to overcome for my own health and that of any further pregnancies.
