Hey everyone!! Looking for some advice. I'm ttc#1 and just turned 35. I came off the pill at beginning of July and had a bleed on the 14th of August. I originally thought that was my first period but on doing more reading maybe it was just a withdrawal?? I started tracking ovulation using premom and opk but so far can't seem to get above 0.1. I've been on the pill non stop since the age of 18 so can't really remember if my periods were regular or not. Any ideas or similar experiences as to what is happening? My boobs were feeling slightly tender over the weekend so maybe a sign something is happening! I know I'm probably just being impatient and maybe my body needs more time to adjust after the pill but feels like this cycle is going on forever without much happening. Take a few pregnancy tests to check and so far BFN

This is really common, it can take your body time to remember what to do and get back to it after being on the pill. Don’t worry x

@CandH35 it can take a while for your hormones to regulate, You were on the pill for a very long time! I remember when I went off it it took a year or so for my everything to balance out. I drank agnus cactus tea to help as my skin was suffering very badly with it all.

I also wouldn’t rely totally on the pre mom app. I was using it and sometimes the line would be darker but the number would be lower, so I went more by my own eyesight as to whether it looked like the line was darker each time.
According to the app I didn’t reach the peak, but I managed to get pregnant, so I don’t trust it anymore!

All of my lines have been very faint so far I've attached a photo. I've been taking testing in the morning mostly which I know your not advised to do with ovulation tests but I drink too much water throughout the day so haven't had much luck either trying one in the afternoon.

@CandH35 I'm the same with water! But you're better off to try and test twice a day so you can see if anything is starting to rise. Are you getting the egg white CM? I used an ovulation patch one cycle, it was really handy as you stuck it to your arm and scanned it twice a day for 7 days and it would catch when you ovulated going by your body temp!

No I don't think I'm getting any noticeable CM, thought there might have been something at the weekend but didn't seem as obvious as most posts I've read about CM. Could have been wishful thinking haha. I've tracked it using premom so we'll see if AF follows in the right time frame. Feels like a very frustrating weighting game just to know that everything is working correctly before I can even start trying properly.
