looking for advice we are due to undergo our first round of IVF after 2 years of TTC. We have 1 little boy 4 years old, no problems conceiving him. I had a laparoscopy in March this year which removed scar tissue from my c section and endo. We tried a IUI in August which failed so now on to IVF. I was hoping to try naturally this cycle but we just got our protocol and it says I should start fematab on day 21 of this cycle and to not have unprotected sex. Are there any risks with going ahead TTC this cycle while taking femetab? Why do they recommend against it?
Also we are trying to decide whether to go ahead with PGTA testing, we are both 35, no miscarriages, would love to go ahead with transfer after egg retrieval but also feel the testing could be beneficial to finding out why we have secondary infertility. Any advise would be appreciated!
