Positive ovulation test detect pregnancy

Anyone heard this theory that an ovulation test can detect very early pregnancy before you test positive on a pregnancy test? Just curious does anyone have experience in this

But equally some people get multiple LH surges due to pcos etc

I'd heard this too so did an LH test with my HCG test and it was positive but not stronger than the test line. I don't think it's reliable enough to replace the HCG tests though. I did another one when I was about 6 weeks pregnant just out of interest (had loads left) and it was so dark there was barely any colour in the control line. By that point though you would know with a normal HCG

It's true, I tested this out. From my experience however there needs to be a line on the hcg test for the lh test to be positive.
Need to be careful though as pp said, some people also get an lh rise before af.
The picture is from my 9dpo test.
I took another at 11dpo and the lh test line is darker than the control line.

Time will tell! I'll post an update in a few days for people searching in future 😅
