Cyclogest not working…

Hi all

Has anyone taken Cyclogest to extend their luteal phase but it hasn’t really worked? I’m on 400mg 2x a day.

My luteal phase is normally 10/11 days but I start spotting around 7dpo. I’m on my second cycle taking it (13th cycle TTC). I’m currently 8dpo and the spotting started yesterday.

The same happened last cycle although it did technically lengthen my luteal phase as it delayed my period but if I’m spotting, then I figure my uterine lining is still breaking down too early and implantation isn’t going to happen?

Any similar experiences out there?

AF actually came this morning, even though I was still taking the Cyclogest! ☹️

@AD1929 😂 remember though each month there is only I think it's 25% chance of conceiving and that changes with age.

It's taken me five years!!
