Any one struggled ttc #3?

I know it’s still early on in the journey for us, this will be cycle 3 (currently in tww but I can tell it’s not happened).

but mentally I can feel myself getting a bit worried. Dc1 took 8 months (huge stress at the time, diagnosed apparently now wrongly with PCOS and DH had variable sperm parameters ( mainly morphology and he needed to empty the tank regularly get the motility up). Started a new role and bam fell pregnant. Then dc2 first cycle back after birth or dc1, quite the fluke. But now we’re on #3 and those old fears from ttc1 are creeping back.

i think I need someone to give my head a wobble. I’m not sure if having tests done on us now will help or created further anxiety. We’re both 35 now. 1&2 were conceived at 30 and 32. Is it possible that age has impacted or that much?

anyone had trouble with #3. I guess I assumed that due to conceiving #2 it would be easier to conceive #3 but it doesn’t seem to be

Very similar story. #1 took 2 cycles after years on the pill. #2 unplanned after only 3 cycles following EBFing. I just have a feeling #3 won’t happen. We’re giving it until Xmas. We’ve technically had about 6 cycles but only tracked for the last 2.

Hi, yes me, I am 36, we started ttc number 3 on September of 2022, did fall pregnant twice that first year but didn't work out. Our first 2 dc were easy to concieve and straightforward, I realise now that we were very fortunate. I have read alot and it's common to take a long time, it's hard not to get discouraged. Same as @Missaggie we are trying to work out a cut off point as it really does take over your life x

I have that feeling too, but I also had it with my first and I just remember feeling the pressure so much (didn’t help there was external pressure too)

my eldest is 5 and the youngest 2 and 10 months.

im really conscious of our ages now, but obviously it’s very common to conceive over 35, so I’m trying to tell myself that statistically as we had 2 then we ‘should’ be ok. I’m also trying to work out a cut out point too as it is all consuming
