Probably daft question, but can I get pg after PMT has begun?

changed my name as I'm not quite ready to broadcast my TTC plans...

I have a short but variable cycle, 23-28 days, and always get PMT at least a week before my period. According to the charts this means i'm still officially fertile, when I already have PMT. This month because of visitors, illness etc TTC didn't happen until last night, and I'd already started to feel PMT coming on.

I don't actually know what causes PMT or if when you get it, that means the fertile period is over IYSWIM. Just wondered if anyone had experienced this.

my PMT alwasy starts after I've ovulated.

I get all the EGCM stuff and the PMT gradually gets worse as it gets less IWKIWM.

So for me PMT arriving means I'm not in the fertile phase BUT thats not the same fro everyone.

Sure can.. I got DS the day before my period. Went on to have a few more periods while pregnant as well.

Thank LTH. I would love to get pg but I'd also quite like it if this definitively meant I wasn't up the duff - then at least I can avoid the angst and have some wine.

Also have no clue. I used ovulation tests and got my boys on "ovulating day" - in both cases day15 of 28/29 day cycle. Used personna and got DD on day 13, after much much charting of cycle lengths, 'popping' feelings and errr a bit of jiggy at strategic points as I was gonna give getting a girl my best shot.
FWIW, I also figured that pmt stuff starts a day or two after ovulation for me. Great, innit

Couldn't possibly not comment . I think you are meant to be most fertile 14 days before your period, so it's unlikely but still possible to be pg. But a bit of wine will be fine anyway...
