Hi all, I'm new to this so I'm sorry if I'm sounding dumb.

I had a miscarriage this month which started on the 4th September, bleeding lasted 5 days and I got confirmation that my hCG levels were at 0 yesterday.

Trying to figure out when il ovulate again but it's so confusing! These are my tests so far and they seem to be going up and down like yoyos. Does it seem like ovulation is coming soon or shall I stop testing for a while? I don't want to waste tests 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hiya, I'm so sorry for your loss. The 1st few cycles after a miscarriage can be different to your normal.

In terms of your readings in general, it can be it can be like that until you ovulate. For some women it will slowly increase up and for others like me, it will go up in the space of a day or 2 and then go straight back down. I'd keep testing so you don't miss it, maybe start with 1 a day in the afternoon as that's when the hormone is the highest I believe and when premom logs it as a 'high' reading then fo 2 a day.

They do generally advice, if you are tracking to ttc again that is, to wait till after your 1st period more for dating reasons than anything else. After my last miscarriage it took 6 weeks for my period to come once my hcg was at 0 but 4 weeks later with my 1st so theres no way to predict it.

@NphysT thank you for your reply. I think I'm just getting my hopes up as when I conceived my first, I had a miscarriage before him aswell and I ovulated 2 weeks after. I was hoping for the same again but il just have to wait and see, I was a littler further along this time x
