Period/ovulation after surgical management miscarriage

Hi everyone. I am 3 weeks post surgical miscarriage. I did a cheap PG test and there is a very feint line. You know the one where it’s an 9dpo type of line.
the hospital said to let them know if test is still positive but it’s so feint they would probably say it’s negative so should I bother the hospital?
with such a small amount of HCG would I still ovulate ?? And will it take around 2 weeks from a negative test ? Or could it be sooner as the procedure was 3 weeks ago.
not sure if this question makes sense. I’m just wondering if the wait for ovulation will be at least another 2 weeks. To eager to try again x

Hi OP,
I had my surgical procedure on 8th July I tested negative 19th August (my hcg was very high at time of procedure so took a while to come down) and I then ovulated 27th Aug and I had my period on time 2 weeks after that.
As I was still testing positive 3 weeks later all they did was a blood test to make sure it was going down but as yours is really faint maybe wait a couple of days and test again.

That’s great to hear you ovulated fairly quickly after the negative test.
i am hoping I’m not waiting forever to ovulate. I do want to try but I just want to know I will ovulate again if that makes sense.
I am going to give it another few days and not bother the hospital as I am pretty sure it will be negative soon.

I wasn’t going to try until I had my first period, but I got so fed up with testing positive week after week, we thought what the hell when I ovulate we will try, but I got my period anyways!
