Negative test but lack of period symptoms

Anyone had this before and what happened?
Usually on the days leading up to my period I would have extremely sore boobs and some hormonal acne on my chin/jawline. Of course I'd convince myself they were pregnancy symptoms month after month, but they were 100% period symptoms.
Period was due today and nothing at all, no spotting. No boob pain, although they feel "full", and no acne flare up. I do have some cramping. Took a pregnancy test this morning and it was definitely negative, however it was just a cheap test strip as that's all they had in my local shop. Just wondering if it's worth venturing out for better tests? Ahhh any advice welcome!

I'd give it a few days if your period is due today, it's not even the end of today yet!

I know, I'm so impatient. We've been trying for 3 years 😭

I would say wait 2 days and then test again, good luck OP I’ve got everything crossed for you! My advice would be to steer well clear of the Clear Blue early tests as they are horrendous for evap lines x

I managed to pick up some Boots own brand tests, but I'm going to try and wait 2 days like you said.
The weirdest thing is how clear skin is, I've had hormonal acne before my period for years!
