I've been told by many friends to start taking 'prenatal vitamin's, as i'm TTC and previous to this i was just taking Folic acid and Vitamin D!
Decided to switch up to a better brand, Pregnacare, and the past week i've been having some serious gut issues. I was fine on only the vit D and Folic acid, previously.
According to BBC, pre-natal vitamins aren't really needed, and according to NHS a balanced diet can do the job just as well!
So, whats everyone's stance on pre-natal vitamins? I feel i should only take them when i'm actually pregnant, not before? Its the high iron content that my stomach can't handle. Not constipation, the 'other' way round.
I've had gut issues before, and so trying not to panic lol
