Will more likely be the February one

raspberryberet7 · 12/09/2024 23:11

By my very amateur calculations it would be the mid Jan possibility. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy x

Copperoliverbear · 12/09/2024 23:14

I'd say Jan, I convinced both my children in March and both were born in December.

So is 30th oct due date from measured size rather than from date of last period?

30th Oct due date would be consistent with a last period date of 24th January which would suggest a conception date around 1st week February.

However if the date is calculated from size then a baby who is growing smaller than average might be misjudged by a week or so - it could still have been the earlier conception date (if so you may go into labour somewhat before the 30th October, though the baby would not be "premature" so much as "incorrectly assumed to have been less mature than in fact was the case"

I got the date from an early dating scan and I was 10 weeks 6 days when it was done . I am also having an elective c section so the dates would be pretty accurate with the dating scan I’m gusssing ?

Yes a dating scan done then isn't going to be very inaccurate. I think the early feb conception is therefore very likely.

My first daughter was born 30th Oct and conceive first week in Feb! (Engagement present!!)

StartingANewNameToday · 13/09/2024 00:29

I don't understand why no one is just counting!

30th October = week 40.

Conception = week 2 = 7th February (or thereabouts)

mrssunshinexxx · 13/09/2024 00:31

I conceived 2nd Feb and due 23rd Oct so I'd say Feb omen

sel2223 · 13/09/2024 05:49

Count back 38 weeks from due date and that'll give you your approx conception date

Tiswa · 13/09/2024 06:04

My due October 6th baby was first week Jan so yours would be the second one

Mumtobabyhavoc · 13/09/2024 06:11

Likely date of conception: Jan 31-Feb 6
Googled "reverse due date calculator".
Found a site called mama natural.

YesItsMe44 · 13/09/2024 06:18

My daughter was born October 30th. I stopped taking birth control in February and probably conceived around the 2nd week in February. I am one who became pregnant missing the pill with my first, and similar with my second. She was full-twrm.

Senseandprejudice · 13/09/2024 07:01

My DD was due a few days after your due date and born the day before it, last period date on that pregnancy I remember was 27th Jan and so conception was certainly early to mid Feb for us, so I'd go with first week of Feb for you.

popplego · 13/09/2024 07:30

My son was due 30th Oct and conceived in the first week of Feb

mychilddeservesaneducation · 13/09/2024 07:34

I'd say the latter of the two. I conceived one of my DC on 12th January and they were born (at full term) in the first week of October.

lmhj · 13/09/2024 12:25

The later date.

Dd born 24 October, due 30 October. Bang on 39 weeks c section.
