Help with BBT chart - could my ovulation date be wrong?

Hi all, this is my first month temping, so it’s all a bit new to me, and I’m not sure if the app just doesn’t have enough data yet.

it’s currently telling me I’m 8DPO, and it seems like AF is on her way. I have some spotting and sort of a pulling feeling like early period cramps. I did have a little rose in temp about 2 days before it predicted ovulation, so could it be possible I ovulated then?

my temp is still currently high, so if AF is here, I didn’t see a drop yet.

8 days seems SO short for a luteal phase, would that affect our chances of TTC?

Update today, after that little bit of spotting yesterday (1 wipe) I’ve had no more. I also had proper period like cramps yesterday afternoon and was completely convinced AF was coming but nothing today.

no idea what’s going on. I’m planning to test on Sunday which will be 11DPO. Is it possible yesterday was implantation?!

Anyone? I’m struggling over here emotionally at the moment. Spotting has basically gone, I’ve had the TINIEST amount of pink CM today, only when I wipe, and really really small

I would say you ovulated when the app says you did on day 18. Your temps increased and stayed high since then.

I can’t say anything about the bleeding. I’m not sure.

My luteal phase was 8 days when I conceived my son, it wasn’t a problem. It’s on the shorter side but not majorly concerning.

I’m not sure about the spotting; though. It could be implantation or it could just be one of those things. It looks like your ovulation date is correct! Best of luck for tomorrow.

My entire cycle when I last conceived was only 18 days from period to positive. I ovulated the day I stopped bleeding. It was an odd cycle because I'd had a D&C and my usual cycles are 26-28 days, so I assumed I wasn't back to normal yet and probably couldn't get pregnant.

I'm 17 weeks now! 8 days is short, but it's enough. I can't comment on the spotting, though, I've not experienced it.

Definitely! Just unexpected as I didn’t get any in my last pregnancy. I wonder how this one will be different…
