Am I near ovulation?

I have two children already but have been experiencing infertility for the last 7 years since my last child, both were conceived naturally before but I was a bit younger, I’m only 28 now but haven’t used any contraception in 7 years and have actively been trying for another baby for almost 3 now. I have pcos and I have just started metformin to hopefully help and also help with ovulation.

I have taken an ovulation test today and I have never even been close to a peak before, could anyone advise on if this looks close to being at my peak or how many days away ovulation may be?

Am I near ovulation?

It’s getting there, but not yet… start testing twice a day to monitor it (don’t use FMU). You’re looking for the test line (next to the white part) to be as strong as the control line (next to the blue handle). Good luck!

Unfortunately, only 2% of sperm live for the much feted five days - 98% will die within 48 hours!

I’ve added an image of what a positive test looks like.

It's fine to use FMU. If I didn't, I would have missed a peak, and I did fall pregnant that month.
